all your really saying is that you cannot disprove my point and therefore your going to distract with other things...its a common way right wingers argue, keep changing the subject till confusion and frustration sets in.
You could of said "hey look thats shiny" and had roughly the same effect.
Regardless, my point stands, executive cannot make law, and if they did courts would strike them down, as is the nature of our goverment
I dont see how the government could buy all the bitcoins, there are so many out in the wild now i would think it would be impossible. Bitcoins are formed by miners who then sell them, or buy something or whatever, how exactly is the goverment going to force the miners to sell there bitcoins to them? and even if it was possible, they would need to go back a few years and find all the old ones laying around and thats not likley. Even if they manage to buy all the bitcoins going forward, it would jack up the price of bitcoins, however, you can buy bitcoins in mini coins, so.00001 bit coin becomes 20.00, i dont need to buy the full bitcoin, just the partial.
Not that i care about defending Obama, but clearly you do not understand how our system works. Congress needs to do patent reform and the president needs to sign it, The presidents power is very limited and so read the constitution and you can figure it out. If your going to blame anyone for it, then you need to blame everyone for it, not just the president.
cool thanks, I like windows 8...hibernation is done right for once and it will even resume network transfers, among many other things, i just cant get passed the no start button, its habit from years of working with windows.
"He is a black belt in Tang Soo Do and Tae Kwan Do. In 1969, he earned the Triple Crown for the highest number of tournament wins, and was named Fighter of the Year by "Black Belt" magazine. By the time he was 34, Norris had established 32 karate schools and had been a champion for six years. In 1996, he became the first Westerner to be awarded an eighth-degree black belt in Tae Kwan Do"
I am not a big fan of this guy, and i agree these Chuck Norris jokes are very annoying, however, facts are facts and clearly you are wrong about the martial arts.
Its world cyber war 1, but instead of a dictator intent on conquering the world, like a real war, its a bunch of script kiddys thinking they are clever
I was looking at 4E and it had a bunch of wierd battle cards and what not, i wasnt sure if i was looking at a dnd game or a magic game. I give props for them trying, but they went so far off of the typical dnd feel that i dont know why they called it dnd
There is no reason to call this person a name, everyone cannot know everything all the time and that mistake is so abysmally small it makes me wonder what is wrong with you that you need to call someone you don't know names like that; well besides the fact that your just trolling.
Seems to me SirGarlon is the one using his brain, he made a reasonable argument with sound logic, and your response was neither helpful or thoughtful
No its ok cause its on our first, our freedom of thought, that's not so much important...and others, like the fourth; these things no big deal...as long as its not the second or the tenth...or any other that they can use to fit in there crazy ideology.
They have become martyrs...and we can think the recording industry's for that. Maybe not true martyrs, but there sacrifice has caused the movement to push back with full force.
I am watching a show made in '86 about physics, its called the mechanical universe. It goes through the historical context as well. Before watching this i thought things went through shits myself, however, now i know its one scientist working on another work until its figured out, i wouldn't say its so much a paradigm shift, more like a few scientist getting credit for completing another work(or adding to it). Its not a sudden shift because in between all these 'shifts' is a easily followed building blocks, but society looks at it as a shift because they are disconnected from the community.
How do you think this will stop them? Do you have any idea how easy it is to be anonymous on the interent? I dont see how this will solve anything other then putting them in the shadows so they can do what they want.
I mean, if the guy is going to offend and he is stupid enough to do it with his name he gives to the cops, then at least he can get caught and removed from society for a few years, going this route will just force them to learn how to play the internet and it truly is not hard. Also, maybe its the online video game keeping them from offending, pedos cant control themselves.
just another law that brings in political points but makes the problem worse.
Put your emotions aside, as well as try and put your morale high ground aside (like you really have one, you don't and nobody does)
lets just deal with the facts. Piracy is not going away, it doesnt matter the laws, DRM doesnt matter, nor does it matter if you bully ISP and political partys, and country's alike, to do what you want them to do, piracy will increase. There is no way to stop that.
So you can try and stand there and scream to the world with all the other copyright Nazis out there, it isn't going to mean shit, infact, it just makes me want to pirate more. If you cant handle piracy, dont write a book; go work for corporate masters like the rest of us.
As far as e-books go, i wont pay some of the ridiculous prices out there for them...they try and sell hardcover books on a ebook; think about that for a minute, the difference between hardcover and softcover on a ebook is exactly nothing expect a 100% markup price; I will pay for things, i will pay for books, games, apps (not music though, fuck the RIAA)...what i wont do is stand there and get ripped off by the next clever, yet worthless, marketing scheme.
Infact, the majority of reason why i pirate is just because i know that someone is pissed off they cant rip the public off anymore and i contribute to that, gives me a nice warm feeling.
now if your book looked creative, was cheap for a e-book (under 5.00) its easier if i just buy it...and i have bought plenty of books for 3 to 4 dollars.
I got this earth shattering news, it will change your life, your children's life and your children's children's life. But first i must make sure i am correct, stay tuned!
Well unless you study climate for a living, gone to school for it, have all the tools and data necessary to make a scientific opinion; scientist will always be more correct then you.
I dont think your keeping it real, your head is in the sand and you feel safe that way.
The internet changed EVERYTHING. You don't see it because you grew up with it, but those of us who didn't know the challenges of a teen back then. Putting all the run to the library to do a school report aside; finding a titty mag was better then finding gold. Now you kids just get to type in anything in Google and its tits and ass for life.
Its great your generation got access to such information, not just porn but all around the massive amount of information you have available to you, the only thing i request is that you respect what you have, because you have no idea what its like without it. Also in 30 years when i say get off my lawn, get off my fucking lawn.
Someone who runs for office happens to play something that is easily available to the public. I might be jumping the gun here, but this huge revelation can only mean one thing:
Don't bother with logic, the right wingers have no logic anymore. I say let them have there cuts, I hope he is on the east coast and suddenly wakes up to a hurricane taking out his home. It will be the 1800's all over again...good times. They can have there falling bridges, pot hole riddled streets, lead filled paint, disease riddled food and no weather satellites, I assume they wont complain as long as the rich have there tax cuts and a at least one war to justify the extra spending on the military. Me, ill be moving to Canada.
Well earths gravity is far more then the moon, so things near enough are far more attracted to the earth then the moon, in that sense, the moon is really small. Also, history shows us rarity of impacts, how many impacts have you observed in your life time? i cant think of one major moon impact i have ever heard about. I think your thinking in terms of earth based psychics, things are far far different in space. A good example is the way Jupiter protects earth from large asteroids, things are more attracted Jupiter and the sun then earth...impacts only really happen out of bad odds. The moon is a very small object in a really large space...
also, that 33 tons is dust mainly, and scattered all over the atmosphere...damaging meteorites is rare to see in the atmosphere (the fire balls) and even rarer to hit ground (last one was the Russia one that exploded and took out a bunch of trees, and it didn't even hit the ground)
correct me if im wrong, but do you not need to serve them the papers? I know in my child custody case the biggest problem i had was serving my X..Seems like it would be challenging to serve them in a different country
