I mean, who on earth who wants to see the human race getting better computer, more interconnected and overall smarter (basically any scientist) would want to start proving that things cant happen. Someone could of 'proved' that the earth was flat at the time, but that isn't true is it. Seems like anyone who considers themselves a scientific person will want to go another route...like maybe do something better then quantum computer, why would we want to encourage someone smart to do something that has utterly no point to it. maybe i am missing something, i didnt read much...lol

I personally wouldn't mind paying a little bit extra (1% of 50.00 is not that much); just like the extra tax on the smoking to help kids with healthcare...im ok with that(i smoke) But its got to work, or be viable...most the time these get into stupid programs that use advertisements and stupid slogans..DARE would be a good example. WTF does DARE even mean, i knew it once.....its just to stupid to remember. Education is the key thing here, kids are so moldable but you got to get them before their teen years. Got to stop this in elementary, once they are in the teens, social status is already established and it is harder to stop. education in the class room with teachers that kids listen to, 30 second adds and slogans painted everywhere never got my attention when i was a kid and i doubt its going to compete with laptops/ipads/smartphones etc.., even elementary kids have access to stuff far more superior then what i had as a kid.

While you may be right, lets look at the idea a little more closely. 300 or so million in USA, how many you think will join? 1 mil, 10 mil, 50 mil? Since USA is tyrannical enough to bring up arms against it, then i assume the USA will have no problems with pulling out the USA military....i don't think you will win. Also, since the majority will not be with you, you will not be branded as fun loving gun toting rebels fighting for freedom like the syria rebels...no my friend, the media and USA government will call you a terrorist organization and then you will truly be fucked. Point is, our democracy makes it so much harder to just take up arms...that and on a scale of tyranny, USA ranks rather low. (for now) I got a better solution, we need to remove money from the political system and have these candidates run on their ideas and not 30 sec ads based on attacking opponent. As long as money is the #1 driver for elections, we will not have a true democracy and there can be no honest debate. To do that, you just need to harness the energy of these 'rebels' but instead of guns, you need signs

nah, 50 character password with 10 destroyed key files is not going to get cracked within my lifetime. Remembering 50 character password would be the challenge in that instance. It will be rather clear its not a .zip file, instead it will look like a bunch of random data and the most they can guess is its a encrypted container, but they wont know what or how, just what it possibly is; to verify it, they would need to open it. Its doubtful they would do anything about it, to even attempt to crack it they would need a reason to just spend the resources, finding it with a bunch of encrypted other files would only increase its chance to be dumped. Maybe MPAA could spend the resources, that would be just grand. But of course, i dont have any files on megaupload and no need to encrypt anything, and this all started in good humor.
