    I quit after playing for 6 months for all the above reasons as well. If EVE had a scriptable UI I would have stuck around, but it was so -awful- that I couldn't handle it anymore and ended up going back to WoW.

    Unless you PVP in a truly throwaway ship the losses can be crippling for a new player starting out in PVP, not to mention that EVE PVP really boils down to a massive game of rock paper scissors, except instead of 3 elements there are about 10. If you're not setup to counter a specific offense(Damping, jamming, sniper/blasters etc) you're dead in the water. Really, you can get away with a high learning curve -or- a punishing loss system. Not both.

    Not to mention that the weather was AWFUL in Melbourne and Adelaide that day. I don't know about the other cities, but it was miserable where I live.

    Better medical, education and welfare programs just work. I say this as someone who has never been on the dole, and has private health insurance.

    All of these 'socialist' programs make the country safer, smarter and healthier.

    I find it rather amusing how as soon as there is some sort of scandal or mud to be thrown, republicans get their snouts deep in much. Clinton's blowjob is a perfect example of this.

    As soon as the reverse is done, its always "Those darn liberals and their lack of morals, get mah gun." Personally, I care more about a politicians policies than who is/has sucked his dick.

    I never got RSS either until I used Google Reader (http://google.com/reader). I tried it a few times in the past, but it never really clicked until I used Google's implementation.

    Certainly this will arouse someone's 'Google knows too much' rant, though I don't see the problem with them knowing my browsing habits.

    Apparently, if you don't support the murder of palestinians, you must clearly support the murder of Jews. If you're not 100% pro-israel, then you'll hear the bloody curdling screams of "racist nazi holocaust 911" until you relent.

    There is really no way to win. Sucks, but there it is.

    Personally I think this attitude is the leading cause of anti-semitism in this day and age. People don't like to be pidgeonholed, and when they do some of them pidgeonhole back...

    Although your post is obviously a joke, Windows did a fantastic job of getting the PC into the lives of average people. This is something that Linux is only beginning to do, IMO.
