Why not? I like the new UI, I just hope full-screen mode is based on Lion's and integrate properly into Mission Control and not done in some different way.
It is called Chromifacation. Maybe Google didn't start it, but the popularized it with version numbers that mean nothing. Even Mozilla is now guilty of it with the release of Firefox 5 Beta.
I wish this happened 9 years ago when they released IE6 and not now when theyfinally started to care about standards and performance. IE9 is good that I wont have to go to friends and family and talk them into the merits of switching and I don't mind seeing IE being at top if all IE instances were IE9 and later future releases. Then again Microsoft would have never cared if they didn't bleed market-share on a constant basis.
Whoa there! Someone is getting ahead of themselves here! Reread what you typed and then reread it again. Ubuntu is still Free Software and for no charge, for the most part, and you can remove it if you don't want it.
It is amazing how much support Adobe gets online and how much hate Apple gets for badmouthing Flash, when Adobe itself has a shoddy history of supporting many OSes, Apple is not to blame for their attitude towards Flash. The web is meant to be universal, but with some OSes lacking Flash support, and there are thousands of Flash sites, it'll never be. Adobe never cared about any OS other than Windows and Mac, so I'm glad that Jobs made it his mission to kill Flash.
Fuji doesn't hold a candle to Mutsu. Here Fuji is everywhere but I rarely find Mutsu. Haven't seen one since I moved from Sendai to Osaka.
I'm willing to bet that 10 years from now desktops will still be relevant, they don't have to be bulky, many desktops aren't.
I do that's why I gave my 1st gen iPad to my mom and got an iPad2, easier to carry around.
Samsung is one of the most corrupt and vile companies out there, if you don't believe me go to your favorite search engine and look it up yourself.

Not a single one in Japan...
Isn't Apple moving away from gcc to clang?
Why are you on /.? Windows 7 on ARM? Hand over your geek card, and good luck trying to get Honeycomb to run on your obsoleted Galaxy Tab.

You can still use Konqueror.
Not a VM but if it is a Win98 game it should run well on Wine.
Moonlight will never catch up with Silverlight, Microsoft should just release Silverlight for Linux or admit that they want to undermine Linux.
I should have posted a link with the stats, sorry. http://marketshare.hitslink.com/browser-market-share.aspx?qprid=2
True, and thanks to many convoluted reasons this wont happen for a long time. I can see IE7 and 8 dropping to single digit before IE6.

How is this anti-Microsoft? I think it is a good thing that Microsoft is using Freetype.
IBM says hello.
Do it Microsoft, I wont mind trying out IE9 on my Mac or Linux box.

the ability to load other operating systems on it, etc.
how is this an advantage to Microsoft?

No one can stop the x86 train, not even Intel.
If the reviews are any inclination, the iPad would do spectacularly well.
You are making it sound like a lot.
Actually, Chrome is the quality choice. IMO. But you should definitely try it.
fixed that for you.
