There is a difference between being smart and being informed. Of course, not all picture frames are loaded with viruses, and not all of us run OSes that are vulnerable to those viruses in the first place.
You've had to do this for a while. Don't you remember having to get a new motherboard to use newer CPUs, even though they had the same socket? Yeah, I do. That was very confusing at times, and at least with a new socket, you will have a better chance of knowing what will / will not work.
No, it makes me boil with rage and seek out the nearest lifeform to make vengeance upon. Last time I saw it, a bus full of nuns paid for it. It's ok, though; I've been sent to therapy, so it doesn't make me as angry. Just enough to commit assault and battery.
I have to agree with the fact that there will be at least one machine, somewhere, that has admin access, and with admin access in a public school you can do some pretty scary things because of the massive numbers of old software.
Uhm, wait a second, this is Slashdot, we aren't supposed to talk about how we meet lovely women and sleep with them. We're supposed to all be bitter about having never gotten laid. Way to end the stereotypes!
I have an SSD, and I too use it for suspend to disk/resume goodness. It resumes much quicker than with an HDD, and my computer is a bit quieter now, too. A lot of things are just quicker.
I'm not a fan of the special effects orgy that's been going on. I'm only 20, but I much prefer older, better movies with bad special effects over newer ones with no plot but flashy 3d characters. Granted, movies like this have existed for a long time, so it may just be a case of weeding out a lot of bad older movies, and comparing that an unfiltered, more modern set.
I don't like beer goggles, they don't fit over my glasses very well. Oh, wait, that was the cheap goggles my school bought for the chem lab. On second thought, I think those would work just as well. Since the movie sucks, I can put those on, not be able to see it, and just imagine that it's a good movie.
Ah, shit. They're all around me! I'm going to need a tinfoil hat. No...I'm going to need a lead-lined tinfoil hat and lead underwear to protect my precious bodily fluids.
Sometimes home theater equipment has its own fans already, so they will make some noise, just like any fan will. They key is to make everything very quiet, so that it does not disturb you. That is very doable.
I request more information on these devices called "vibrators" and how they may become dampened. A quick search through the literature seems to suggest that the female of the human species uses it a kind of cleaning device. I give you my sincerest thanks in advance.

What?! You mean we can stop worshiping people that can hit/catch/throw balls? We should stop caring about far removed people who are famous for pretending to be other people? What a mad idea! Next you'll be telling us that war kills people, there is no god, and men watch porn. It'll lead to mass chaos!
I much prefer working with Qt on my little projects, so I don't mind the longer compile times so long as they save me some dev time. Except when I run Gentoo. Then it matters a lot.
That's a testament to their marketing powers, not to their products. I'm of the opinion that Apple could market human waste, and we'd all hail it as revolutionary. That said, their products are fairly decent, just not as awesome as they are made out to be.
Their gaming division lost a lot of money, too, but I believe that is now turning a profit. Who knows, maybe Bing will end up in the black? I agree that Bing should not be called a success, at least not yet, but it's too early to tell if it is a failure.
This is the Shared Source release for MechCommander 2. This release contains all of the source code and source assets required to build MechCommander 2. This release can be used with the Microsoft XNA Build March 2006 Community Technology Preview (CTP).
They've given this away for free (with source code), so why not give away Mech Warrior 4 for free, too? It's not like the games are extremely new or anything
There's also JavaScript, which will run pretty much everywhere, and doesn't require installation of the application. Safari, Chrome, Opera, and Firefox all support it reasonably well enough to do some very neat things, even on the iPhone and Android devices (assuming they use a variant of the Chrome browser; I've never used one). What's more, at least one of the above will run on Mac OS, Linux, *BSD, Solaris, Windows XP and above, various mobile phones and embedded devices, etc. With Flash you can get similar amounts of users, though you will lose the iPhone and some other platforms.
Don't ask why I needed trig. in spite of having had the upper level courses. Just a magic hoop to jump through.
In high school, I had that same sort of problem. I moved from one school system where you took World History in two parts, one in 8th grade (middle school) and one in 9th grade (high school), to one where the two parts were pushed up a year. Despite having completed both classes successfully, they made me retake history part I, because they just didn't trust that I learned anything. They also made me take the standardized test for the second history class, which I passed with a perfect score on, making their theory that being taught something a year earlier isn't good look a little silly.

Good thing that not every camera stores pictures in JPEG format.
Part of that income they give you will also go to the government, through withholding + income taxes + any taxes on what you use the money on.

My good sir, how does one become a Roman emperor to experience this dating service?

Yes, I'm a proud Ahmurkin

Then the carrier is probably going to be angry that they went over the unadvertised bandwidth caps, charge them more, and cut them off.
You'll have to wait for the SQL. /rimshot

I took my calc classes in 2008-2009 at UVA. None of my classes allowed calculators in class at all, and angles were chosen to be easy.
And many colleges ban calculators for just that reason.
