    Check your logs/permissions for "visiting maintenance" people. There may be hundreds, depending on how big it is.

    I think robot controlled solar sails would even work to adjust trajectories, given sufficient time and warning.

    Nukes? If there is a suddenly detected chunk of rock/ice/metallic whatever that big, that close, probably wouldn't help
    much.

    I prefer nudging even with nukes, not trying to blow up the object.

    Ipad air 2 with cellular weighs about: 0.98 pound (444 g)

    Ipad air 2 with wifi weighs about Weight: 0.96 pound (437 g)

    Macbook Air weighs about 2.38 pounds

    There have been a lot of strange things going on for a while at reddit.

    Banning people because they mentioned the alleged ponzi scheming of the CEO's husband,

    Making a bunch of crappy sub-reddits defaults, removing other (crappy) sub-reddits as defaults.

    This just seems to be the tipping point for a lot of people. I don't think most people really actually cared about the ban, but the way it was done and the obvious other sub-reddit targets that were just ignored, or had excuses made for them.

    I just looked back at digg.com for the first time in a couple years from when it flamed out heroically on it's 2.0 launch. It's not horrible now, there doesn't appear to be too much drama on their front page. Looks like delicio.us Just a abc/cbs style repost of yesterdays "hot web news"

    supposedly people flocked to voat.to so hard they took down the site.

    The other thing people seem to be doing is re-enabling adblock on reddit, and voting with their purse strings by not purchasing gold anymore.

    Probably not, most linux machines have little use for MSI installers.

    Or one employee that believes in personal freedom, and also realizes that yeast produced opiates will shut down the cartels, hurt the Taliban, reduce violence, and pretty much make the world a better place ... unless you are either a criminal or a cop.

    Unless, of course, the government goes on a pogrom against any large scale yeast operation, in which case only organizations with the resources to operate one illicitly will be able to benefit: the cartels and the Taliban.

    I use videoconferencing a lot, but there are many times when it just doesn't get the job done, particularly when you are dealing with people from another country and there is already a language/understanding gap. Communicating in person is still much more effective, as is relationship building.

    Plus, there is the added value of actually punching someone in the face when you're there.

    Videoconferencing only offers the ability to wobble your balls at them, or shooting them the finger.

    No problem at all there. The additional time on the ground while you sit on a runway waiting for your turn will more than be made up for

    They could be serious.

    I'm thinking they are very serious. Their "re-election" coffers are running low, and they need financial inducement from bribes, umm I mean "contributions" to increase H-1B numbers.

    Otherwise, they threaten to decrease those numbers, causing corporations to actually pay people, instead of selling out their
    jobs to the lowest bidder.

    I don't. I tried to sign up with Yahoo a few weeks ago and got cockblocked by this. They required a mobile number.

    Yeah, you think that's bad, I don't even have a computer or internet access and they wouldn't let me sign up.I must have sent them a dozen faxes and letters, and I'm still waiting for my so called "free" email account. Is it really "free" if it requires an expensive computer to use it!?

    You should have either sent a clay tablet, or maybe a telegram.
