Parent can't be modded highly enough.

Sexism can be, and often is, an ugly thing. But, women are guilty of sexism as much as, and sometimes more than, men are.

It's been a recognized fact since I was a child that males are risk takers, and women are not. The exceptions merely prove the rule. Take a look at the prison population, then come back and tell me that I'm wrong. Risk takers, all.

Men are willing to be called names, to be looked down on for nonconformity, to suffer ridicule, sometimes even to be beat up or shot at, so that they can do what they want to do. Women are unwilling to put up with these things.

For the most part, I can do little more than laugh at the women crying "SEXIST PIG!" But, as I said already, sexism can get ugly. Sometimes the guys do need to be slapped down. There have been comments and jokes made that were entirely out of line, and some of the guys responsible need to be skewered. Just take the worst 5% of what the women are bitching about, dump on the perpetrators, and everything will be just about where it belongs.

That done, I'll just go back to the ages old game of mocking women for being women, and countering their attempts to do the same to me. Men and women are different for a reason, and at least 95% of the world's population likes it that way. The few feminazi bitches fall into that other 5%, and they get far to much publicity.

The ISP compresses the web page you have requested, then serves it to you, thereby increasing the apparent speed of service. You can accomplish the about the same increase in speed by using Adblock Plus, Flashblock, and NoScript. Instead of compressing all the trash on a web page, you just don't load it at all. Many websites serve up 3 times as much advertisement as they serve content. Almost ALL websites serve as much garbage as they serve content. Don't download the garbage!! You're guaranteed a 50% increase in apparent speed!

Living in SW Arkansas, I don't think that I could find anyone making 120, but I might find a few making nearly 80. The highest paid individual in my extended family makes a little less than 30, and most make 12 or less. In fact, more than 1/2 make well under $10/hour.

Pricing schemes look a whole lot different to a man who can purchase a game for one hour's wages, as opposed to a man who has to spend a day's wages for the same game. Especially considering that people who make $10/hr have little if any savings or investments.

I'm not a gamer either, but over the years, I have collected a few games, and the kids have more that we enjoy puttering around with. To use her cellphone, my wife has to stand out in the yard, because there is a water tower between the house, and the single cell tower that reaches our property.
