Did you review every line of the linux source code for this router? For all you know it could contain a backdoor also. And don't hand me this "someone might catch it sometime" Like the redhat default Q password.
DeCSS "plays" dvds? I don't think so. Lets see I fire it up and wait about 15 minutes. Wow it dumped a 4 gig file on my drive. Thats one hell of a player.
Oh wait it bad mouths al gore. Nevermind we'll just sweep it under the rug and make anti bush comments. In case you haven't noticed by some of the AC's, Malda seems to be a left winger.
How do justify napsters "real" use? How do you find unknown bands by searching for keywords? You don't. Maybe if napster had a browse by category option they could try and pass that off, but come on. We both know ftp traffic has nothing to do with napster.
To point out that the worlds biggest GNU/Linux zealot's personal website uses FreeBSD. I personally prefer FreeBSD over linux but that makes RMS seem even more the hypocrite.
You might remember my other old sig, Andover seems to use solaris for its main page. Andovers motto says "Leading the linux revolution" oh really?
I just enjoy pointing out little facts that people would rather not talk about.
Its not like someone copies all 400 pages of your physics book and has it hard cover bound for free. Thats the analogy. Your copy is only a small part of the book and not exact like mp3s.
They are fine with trading bootlegs and such, but when music they own started circulating before the officla release they got kind of mad. I can't blame them for that. Say you were making some kind of secret product that was to be released next month. I come in and steal a prototype and have 1000 copies made and start giving them away. I bet you wouldn't be too happy.
Its not about money, its about music being released on their own terms. Don't you understand that?
It just pisses me off that joe luser can get a 100mbit connection that he doesn't know what to do with while others who actually need fast connections are stuck with 56k. Kind of like AOL users polluting the real internet, they have no clue what its really like.
AMD isn't going to kill intel in the server market unless someone makes two, four, and eight way SMP boards. I thought athlon cpus were supposed to be capable of this?
Napster is specifically designed to search for illegal mp3s, it has no other use. How am I supposed to search for unknown bands using keywords? Type in random words and hope to find something new? Maybe if you could browse by category they could at least try and make it sound legitimate.
Driving is a priviledge, not a right. The second ammendment clearly states as follows:
"A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed."
Note the comma between state and the. A comma is used to seperate two different thoughts. So it is my *RIGHT* to keep and bear arms.
Guns are not designed to kill, they are used in several olympic events to show skill and coordination. Its sad that in countries like england olympic athletes are not allowed to practice their sport shooting because of current laws. Last time I checked england wasn't exactly the safest place to be. Why do they need cameras on highways and street corners to look for criminals?
I don't think anyone has ever overclocked a cpu and had it die on them. Most of the time if you go to high it refuses to work until you bring it back down. When the chip starts hitting 70 or 80c they automatically shutdown to prevent damage. Not to defend shady companies, but most overclocked systems are just very unstable, and the vendor can just claim its a win98 issue.
I don't know what you're talking about but during the IE5.5 install you can pick exactly what you need. A bare browser minus java is about 6 meg, smaller than netscape. The configuration in IE5.5 is a tree view just like netscape. Maybe you should do some checking before posting. I happen to like IE because it doesn't crash daily and renders about 10x faster.
No I think thats her number.

How about stop complaining and write your own legal dvd player and then you won't have to worry about lawsuits.

Spend money that doesn't belong to them!

Ah that means my trolling is a success.

I'm glad most AOL'ers are partitioned off to a 'safe' corner of the internet away from me. AIM blows hard anyhow, I can't see why anyone would use it.

It states you can't keep copyrighted material on their network. That blows your argument.
Everyone just turns on windows file sharing, why even use a program for that?

Well if your job invloved working from home over a VPN or PPTP you would need a fast connection.

Thats like boycotting germany because of WW2.

Well I never liked any role playing games or star wars movies, but I do enjoy computers and anything technical.
Its better than a 30 meg mpeg file, or horrible quality quicktime cinepak. Don't get me started on realvideo.
Have a look at ASFRecorder, it allows you to save streaming ASF files and its written by some anonymous group.
