Well in actuality if you format your HD and havent written anything else to it since format you can recover the files. When you format your not overwriting the data just clearing the node entries. So a recovery is very possible.

I dont know about CPU's but this new tecnology to molecularly compramise the integrety of hardware is cool. And as for blowing things up..well..I mean now sendmail is a lethal weapon. Call me Mel Gibson baby!!!!

Umm what exactly can i do to "tailor" windows? Huh?... Get the src and hack it to my preferances? I think not. The only thing i could do is either use litestep for a mock wm effect =P, or *shudder* buy M$ Plus or something to add some lame feature to a powerless OS. No the only way to go is GNU/Linux or BSD.

  4. ITs about time on Senior Navy Official Slams Microsoft · · Score: 0

Microsoft has been consistantly making low quality software.I for one think the way their products make people expect less out of their software is unacceptable.I mean they have the public thinking system crashes are a "normal" part of operation. This my only be my opinion but we could all benefit if more people "told it like it is".THis being that microsoft cares nothing about quality and thats proven by me using it and expiriencing it for myself. So all you M$ "experts" can stuff that in your pipe and smoke it.

  5. Flame bait is really not the reason for this post on Debian 2.2 (potato) Freezes · · Score: 1

It seems to me personal pride has taken over this thread. I believe the original post was to announce the freeze of potato not a debate on how good or bad dselect is. As linux users we all have our preferances. You need to realize its all GNU/Linux not Debian vs RedHat or Slackware. Some people like rpm while others prefer apt. Who cares this is the most mindless thread i've had the pleasure of reading. Way to keep the Linux comunity together guys.
