    osx86project.org is figuring out if its possible to get 10.5 to work on non-apple hardware. For 10.4.7 we have been using the kernel from 10.4.4 because there is no hardware lock in the kernel. This type of switch wont work with 10.5

    Seems like LJ staff could have this all go away if they just post a entry that "Bantown" has requested on the front page of livejournal.com. Id rather be a bit embarassed that I gave in than have a group of 15 year olds causing terror on my profit generating website.

    Since the powerbook is now known as the MacBook Pro that tends me to believe that the PowerMac will be called the Mac Pro or Pro Mac. Honestly ProMac sounds better than Mac Pro which can be confused with MacBook Pro easily.
