    yeah they dub interviews here too, but i notice they always allow a second of the guy speaking his own language before the dubber steps in. i guess the BBC and ITN think people can't read

    Taxi? u mean iCab? ^_^

    it can filter images by dimension, URL, and also u can turn off javascript functions like popups (but enable them for sites where u want it)

    i ain't seen a popup ad for months!

    thats why i love iCab, one can turn JS fun like that off, and selectively enable it on a site for site basis on sites u need the popup on

    china has mandarin, intended as a lingua franca and many other languages - laughably called dialects of chinese but they quite different in pronounciation and grammar, they do have a common written language though, which is neat.

    when he said chinese he prolly meant mandarin, which is spoken in china, taiwan, HK, s'pore, m'sia and other places

    btw some english dialects are not that easy to understand, ever spoken to a geordie or an ah beng?!

    We have the best football team in the world (world cup 1998 and european cup 2000), and the best football player (zinadine zidane).

    Of course! None of them play in the french national league! It also explains why only 2 french league teams have ever one a european championship -- ever.

    so what? all that means is that the spanish, italian and english leagues are fuelled a lot more by TV money

    this is yet another example (Apple against the theme makers was another) of lawyers running business now. the world seems to be strangling into a deep pit of litigation and lawsuits. guess who comes out on top - whether these cases win, lose or draw.

    give me a break! don't you ever bother to check your facts about this?! everytime there is something about Apple's UI someone trots out this old chestnut about Xerox PARC. it must be the biggest urban myth in existance!

    after finding a photo of the place i admit i was pretty surprised how small and primative it is. they are gonna put the stuff in the concrete legs though they say. i guess if they had enough takers they could keep going deeper and deeper and start digging into the seabed!
