no it happened to me when i started to use a Mac, i think its because i went to it with preconceptions about how some things had to be done and that some things have to be hard. you soon get used to the mac way however, and don't want to go back!
Eudora also has this sponsored crap, after about 30 minutes i stopped noticing the ads so it was cool. if these opera ads are the same in visability then its no big deal
installation last night on my Rev B iMac went fine, the only problem was in fdisk and disklabel (because i had no idea what i was doing) but everything went fine... except that i seem to have to unplug then replug the mouse before i can type anything. X works right off the bat. wicked.
the web did start out like that, then commercial forces took over and dictated that the page had to look *exactly* like blah blah blah corporate image waffle waffle branding et cetera
er i hate to nickpick but m'sians speak malay not javanese, which is a rather different language. i think maybe you are thinking of indonesian which is based on malay
Also, the culture is different in Europe: contracts are more binding than in the US: you'll have to tell them you're moving on months in advance instead of not returning from lunch
not really true, you can leave the next day if you want - its just considered a sucky thing to do not to give a notice period (of at least a month) and stick to it. usually the company will let you go after a few days anyway
photoshop is the best program ever written, its true its true. gimp or PSP might be ok for little pics but for anything professional or half-decent its PS only. the program is just so deep, so vast, even though i've been using it daily for years i still find out new ways of doing stuff and new features. and nearly all professionals (100% of the ones i've ever dealt with anyway) use it so its handy when you want some tips or help
well its not just inertia, its also to do with the fact Macs suit the creative mind better. our creatives are mac guys and gals 100%. why? they just can't work with the way Windows works. PS on a PC sucks with its jerky MDI, thats IMHO of course
i think OS/2 is much closer to a Mac than Windows, in the way it works and stuff. its a real pity PS3 never was on the Warp OS, i could well imagine mixed OS/2 and Mac offices
well one major use is in publishing. you want your magazine you are designing in quark to look the same printed out. especially important when you are dealing with a company's corporate colour scheme and all that crap
as opposed to a quiche eater? i dunno about you but my years of working in the advertising and design industries brings me to the conclusion that Mac rules well beyond all others. thats good. OS/2? i wish, thats the only OS i love more than the Mac but it simply wasn't that big a player. especially once PS 3.0 came out. layers baby. how did we ever do without 'em?!
yes i used to have Linux-PPC on my iBook (i lost it due to using Norton Utilities - hint - never use that piece of smeg), u may need a special kernel. my HP has info about installing Linux on an iBook _plug_mode_

damn who cares anyway, its not a very good paper anymore. smart ppl read the Manchester Guardian instead
interesting that a truthful post that shows the US in a bad light is moderated as a troll on this website...
no its humour, its a different word. humor is some unfunny american thing i believe
i don't fall for trolls, especially ones like you

Continent-drift started later then we think
continental drift has been happening for hundreds of millions of years, i think since the world was able to support life
the deal? the joy of creating, problem solving, designing
