    This actually penalizes the guy who downloads a heck of a lot, but he times his downloads so they always run from 11 pm to 5 am.

    Then just count every GB transfered between, say, midnight and 7am as 512MB.

    It's actually fairly simple (afaik). Particles bounce between potentials (inside a "well") and create standing waves. These waves die off exponentially in the potentials themselves, and so if you have a potential that is small (thin) enough, there is a non-negligible probability that the particle will be found outside of the well.

    Voila, "teleportation".

    I suggest you compare Quantum Tunneling with Quantum Teleportation, as they are not the same thing :)

    ... and don't be overly paranoid :) This year, I entered the US 4 times, I've been pulled aside 2 times, I never had to show my laptop. My colleagues have similar experiences. I can only speak about traveling between the US and Europe though.
