    Google created a much better replacement, Pepper.

    But the assholes at the Mozilla Foundation won't implement it because they prefer shitty insecure APIs like NPAPI. Microsoft won't implement it (which is probably a good thing, they'd just fuck it up like everything else they do).

    Mozilla created NPAPI BTW, Netscape Plugin API.

    The vast majority of Java vulnerabilities had to do with Microsoft's awesome implementation.

    That's almost true but electric cars are much more simple than our current internal combustion engine powered vehicles.

    Compare a Tesla with a Chevy, there must be an order of magnitude fewer parts in the Tesla.

    This along with the increasing importance of the car software platform (monitoring, communication, self driving, etc) could present a perfect storm for traditional auto companies that are caught napping.

    Usually you aren't buying stock in some company but helping provide them with money for producing a specific property.

    I expect that if they did expect stock in the company the US SEC might have some issues with how Kickstarter is run.
