Well, its nice to know I'm so wrong. However, gold chains are on people who aren't criminals. The jewelry doesn't depict something illegal. I understand and agree with your statement, but this is closer to someone who takes pictures of themselves smoking a fake joint. He is depicting something that's illegal to possess. I know the argument is flawed (if you take it to extremes like you did) and you shouldn't arrest someone for having a drawing of a murder. What I'm saying is if a person does this kind of thing a lot, and distributes it, they may be more likely to have real child porn than say...you would. Get me? Oh and thanks for ignoring the part where I said I don't see how this is a crime. And the part where I said I don't want thought police. I don't pretend to have the answers, but its nice to know you do. See below for how I'm totally wrong again....

This is like that hentai guy. I think material like this may be grounds for investigating someone to see if they have actual illegal porn. But I don't see how this is a crime. I don't want thought police, but there should be no gray area when actual children are involved.

....then you probably shouldn't be trying to outsmart the justice system in a tech based case. Also they should change the name of kazza to: 'barrel of fish into which the RIAA will periodically shoot.' Personally I think that the verdict from the first case should have stood + additional court costs. Then a perjury case should begin. I'm not anti-piracy, but it is piracy. All there really is to discuss is what the penalty should be.

In the environment I work in, taking stuff is not an option. Period. But if you're in an environment where it can happen, it's important not to abuse the unspoken privilage. Most of my family is or has been in the military and this kind of stuff is pretty normal. Sounds like he was either too comfortable taking things, or he was a clepto. Either way, the government can be fairly protective about anything labeled "computer equipment."

I was unaware that the 'dinos' went extinct. They seem to have evolved and some species have gone to dodo bird land but many are still here. I was also under the impression that species evolve and go extinct every day. Here's my completly uneducated theory; As the world got more crowded, there was not enough room for the bigger species to live/eat/hunt. So they died off or evolved to be smaller. But that's probably too simple of a theory to justify any government grants or sell vaccinations. Either that or they all got real sad and cried to death.

Why would they give us (americans) all that speed at once? They can just feed us a trickle of an increase every so often and make us pay a premium for a "blazing speed extreme boost" or whatever they call the next marketing plot.
