RPM hell is right up there with DLL hell, FYI. IOW, get with the new, gramps, I've had less pkg mngr issues with fedora than crashbuntu, or debian (no wireless drivers, not even open source ones, and no auto conf - on the desktop release - really?).
I'm not a bad person - I'm usually told I have too much compassion for the mentally ill (guess where that came from). But I have no compassion for the ignorant. I guess a lot of/.ers feel that way.
The type safety is compile time. After compilation, it's as if it doesn't exist. Oh, and Glasgow Haskell and Gambit-C Scheme would like to have a word with you. Right after Ada, Eiffel and Modula-3 are done with you.
The analogy you are looking for states that the scientist stated that when you cut both legs off a frog, they lose hearing. And, in all practicality, capitalism hasn't been tried, in a sense, though that lack of trying is localized to certain markets. Also, I believe the GPPs point is that communism, per Marx, hasn't been given equal footing with capitalism.
If your laptop sits at the desk a lot, get a desktop, if your tablet gets used a lot with a keyboard, get a laptop. Oh, and no one would bother bringing a separate keyboard - what would be the point, if it's more unwieldy than a laptop.

Emacs user keep unto themselves, usually. They don't deserve that.
CRT is old hat, for general purpose use. Get LED fixtures.

Any idea how to turn zones on in FC15?
Haskell doesn't seem to have problems.
Which brings us to another point - they didn't learn from Self - getting rid of the semantic separation of primitives and objects.
AS/400 is now i5 OS, alive and well.
Are you advocating dynamic typing?
I think the solution is compiling in most of the stuff. XML -> S-Expressions -> Lisp

Do you have any online references you can point me to?
What does Aqua offer over KDE, or W7 explorer?
Qt?
OS X is multi-user, isn't it?
Can't you fast forward through the releases?
Switch to PC-BSD - it's games go faster!
Us RPM users can blow it, eh? Thanks for nothing.

How about we stack RAM chips - lower latency would improve throughput without much heat.

But then it's not tablet, is it?
Fast python code means that you are not CPU or cache constrained. And what is so unreadable about Ada. Or even scheme.
The hell if I ever found out how to PM on /.
