Chuck Jones, the guy behind Merry Mellodies at Warner Brothers,
Just a little nitpick: while Chuck Jones ist one of the BIG directors re Merry Melodies et. al. let's not forget the other guys a Termite Terrace like Bob Clampett, Friz Freleng, Robert McKimson, Frank Tashlin and of course Tex Avery.

I might be pretty daft, but it looks and feels like a Palm Vx for the prize of a Vx. Ok, the flash LED is cool, but else?
Maybe I'm missing something here... ---

I'd just like to note that the doctrine of the Pope's infallibility doesn't get proclaimed until the end of 1800 (1893?). This was in turn followed by a small chism in the catholic church. There are some "free catholic churches" in Germany today.
Still, it's very much a pity the catholic church still hasn't owed to their many errors. Then and now.
Giordano Bruno was way ahead of his time. And somehow I'm not sure he would end with his own talk show today. We still burn those with different opinions. Not in the pyre, but look at the state of ANY discussion forum, including/.

I'd say going against the SFPD and moving local politics is a lot of hacking. Ok, so he doesn't hack code right now, but you could say he "hacks minds". Greetinx Aleks A. --- For a real millenial disaster, computer glitches cannot hold a candle to global warming.
I'm very weary of the whole Mozilla situation. Somehow AOL seems to NOT support Netscape the way Netscape did, and I don't think (sad as it is) that Mozilla will ever fly. Netscape 4.7 was little more than a bugfix, Mozilla's still a bunch'o code, and MS IE's got a pretty good support of DHTML. Add to this the fact that it supports XML better than any other browser out there (not very difficult) and I see us waaaaaaaaaaaay into MS territory. Sad to say, but I think MS won the Browser war and Netscape is being kept alive in the ICU.;-( It's depressing. Aleks A.

Did Anyone Play "One Must Fall"? This wast a fighting game between Human contrlled robots. Pretty much fun if you had nothing to do.
I can't comment on the show as I'm in Germany, but the idea seems like the beginning of OMF in reality.
I saw OMF a couple of days ago in an "abandonware" site. Abandon as in "officially declared Freeware", not "Warez under other name".
