".. not what it does (which should be evident from the code)" how about to that Jr. Coder that just got out of college and had you old code dropped on him to fix a bug right now?
I have read a lot of code that wasn't clear what it was doing because the developer was either being 'cute' with the code, or just new some pieces of the code that where pretty esoteric. Since that did it often, it doesn't occur to them someone else wont know about it.
sometime you need to state what it's doing. And you always need to state what it's expected to do. That's the only way the next person that comes along and get an idea of how to fix it, or converted it into a new language,.
Look, just follow engineering specification. They exist for a reason.
"Yeah baby, this code where I do a memory copy. yeah, it's the best. I got a bitty for that.. a bitty is an award to outstanding code.. writing code like this is what allows me to afford the Corvette out side. Lets go for a drive. I know a great place up on the hill with good with and a magnificent view."
handle comments perfectly. You can hide them, change the color, run reports on them, use a template.
And yes, comment your code. Data, initials a description of what you expect it to do. Update with changes, because regardless of your ego, you are capable of putting a small change that doesn't show up for a week..or more.
" The difference is that the whole world has to listen" no. In fact, the vastly majority of the world do not no whats going on, and everyone not directly involved in the case has to listen to it.
(a) the invention was known or used by others in this country, or patented or described in a printed publication in this or a foreign country, before the invention thereof by the applicant for patent
so this: " If you do it and dont patent it doesn't count as prior art." is just wrong.
" "stuffed full of antibiotics and raised in atrocious conditions"?" please show me scientific evidences that causes any harm in the person eating the pork.
I know your an ninny who takes what fits a preconcieved bias instead of actually looking at research and think. Unlike you, other people reading this are capable of thinking., so for their sake, some facts:
Antibiotics are given strategically, administered when pigs are sick, susceptible or exposed to illness. It's not just given to them willy-nilly.
Using antibiotics strategically has given us in the US the safest pork in the world. Antibiotics are give under strict guidelines, and only antibiotics that the FDA approves for use in pigs.
Over 20 years pork has gotten safer and healthier.
decades of study and work has given us a time where you caqn actual get safe rare cooked park, and a bunch of scientific illiterate yahoos want to throw us back to the 50s.
hmm, that would be really odd from Pork grown in the US, these days. It's really clean compared to other countries. The exception being 'natural' or 'organic' small farms. Often the thing it's natural for a pig to eat trash and left overs.
And that's why I refuse to take developer tests.

Worst. Comments. Ever.
What is it suppose to DO? What's the goal?
great you looking through a cursor, swell. Why? why do you want o get bar from foo?
Your code is useless if bar or foo changes,or if people are looking at reuse.
and THIS is unforgivable:
IF NOT p_foo IS NULL THEN
-- Must be good, process it.
really? the only bad one is null? really?
That type of coding is why bugs suddenly appear and disappear.
So god damn bad.
and exaggeration to make a point:

" you can figure out what's going on without distraction."
but you can't figure out what it's SUPPOSED to be doing.
So comment. Update comments. Do proper engineering.

And you know what? Samsung will use Apples quote against them in marketing.
"Apple says our screens are just as good...interesting..did you know our newest phone is 100 dollars less expensive? "
" The difference is that the whole world has to listen"

You are the one that needs the lesson:

man doesn't know the science, claims it can't be true. News at 11..on Fox.
heat air and gas vapor.
So 'just right' is actual very common.
desial, yes, Gas? no.
There are videos of cigarettes causing gas to catch on fire on you tube.
Just blow a hole in it.
They do.
I'm a vulcanologist , and from what I have learned, Vulcans release pressure every 7 years.
not to hand thing from, to prevent cloth drying on a tenter from shrinking.
All caps is never appropriate.
yes. ti's not as active and dangerous as where you ,live, there for lets not worry about it.
worrying is what causes people to take action.
Just make a metaphorical deal with the devil. .. and by Devil I mean robot devil, and my metaphorical I mean get you coat.
By clean I mean healthy.

You just don't eat enough old egg salad sandwiches in space gas stations.
No, YOU are wrong.
AT refers to ATA and ATAPI command-set; which SATA uses; with improvements and new features.
It was change to PATA to more accurately describe how it's moving data through it's channels i.e. parallel
