Why would you have code longer then 95 character? Seems to me that's a good number to consider restructuring your code. Anyways, 95 was not the best, 10 inches was. In that case it happened to be 95 characters.
"The best available research suggests that users will read fastest if the line lengths are longer (up to 10 inches). If the line lengths are too short (e.g., two and a half inch columns), the line length probably will impede rapid reading. Users tend to prefer lines that are relatively short (about four inches)."
I remember them doing it, but can't find any info.
If memory serves(and it may not) they initially took credit after the blasts. Once taken seriously they would call it in before..along with false threats.
Start him at 8 AM. Have him be in a meeting about what he is going to day, be sure someone tangets into personal story for 40 minutes. Take him to starbucks and have him hang around there for 30 minutes. Bring him back to his desk and have him load a compiler. Have him wade through a series of emails that look like they might relevent, but 80% aren't.
Have him write a few lines of code. Have another programmer come and talk about the cool ST blue ray they got. Spend 30 minutes talking about lunch. Go to lunch for 90 minutes. Have a Nerf fight. Listen to a coworker bitch about how much work they can't get done.
A multibillion are pouring money into curing diseases? A bunch of delusional people who think if someone else would have done it at the time computers would be magically perfect? Linux?
I'll take quite with a speedometer, thank you. And the wind noise will also be an indicators. Another indicator will be when everything in front of you starts to turn blue~
hmm. They should set up something on the game sever that only allows games run at a specific size connect.
For tournament play and what not.
Clearly it would be set up by the admin and be optional.
yes, becasue people buying cheap laptops will just flock to the higher resolution 1200 dollar laptops
The masses don't see a reason to pay for it. There playing farmville and checking there email.
Here is one with 1920x1200

Yes, nothing says you have a point like the argument from ancients fallacy.
"most web pages work best on narrower/taller screens,"
oh,. web masters. yes lets use those highly trained professional as the reason to do something.
Any current web site that isn't taking advantage of 16:9 is being foolish
All this, and you use a mac book air? Had you said so at the beginning I could have just ignored you.
Because 16:9 and a size that's usable is cost prohibitive for those displays.
I mean, it's because of typesetters..or some such thing.
Use a REAL computer, like an iPad~

If we where talking about just reading text on a printing press, then yes.
Bet we aren't.
We are talking about alerts, pictures, videos, code which is NOT written like a sentence.
"You might believe that, but studies show that long lines fatigue the eyes. Typog"
SO I can't read past that?
I have a killer headache, so maybe that's impacting my google fu,, do you have a citation?
Just so you now, most of use have peripheral vision, so when something things in a different window we notice.
Cut internet access. Force this jack ass to use a phone. More easily traceable.
citation?

And they identified themselves.
The lesson? when the IRA calls about putting a bomb there, evacuate.
People spend too much time watching movies.
Bombers don't warn people.

Hey dumbass, what about C11, approved last year?
Just because you don't have the brain to understand something, doesn't mean the 11 year old doesn't.
There isn't anything wrong with android.
If they are just running out into the street, then they are stupid.
If they are in a busy area, then they should use the crosswalk.
In most cases they can't here the car anyways because of all the back ground noise.
If you have to cross in the middle, then do so slowly.
Yeah, it sucks being blind. That doesn't mean we need to implement a system that won't help.
A) HUD
B) The top of a well position speedometer can be seen with the peripheral vision. The top is where you 45-75 should be.

plus it's the drivers responsibility to look out for pedestrians.
Anyways, in 5 years we will have self driving cars. Once that takes hold, the whole making noise thing is irrelevant.
maybe you should pay attention?
They make these great things called mirrors, you might want to look into that.
heh.
so instead of people having bumper stickers, they'll have audio commercials...
wait a minute. I wonder if I could get a cheaper car if it played commercials?
hmm
If a kid dies with a parent gun, call it an act of god.
I call it negligence, and the parents should be punished.
