No, no, no, you should have hacked in to change things so that your post would have been backdated to be first. Then we'd have hired you to get you to show us how you did it. Newbie!
He still hacked and deserves what he got, but Marriott is just trying to shift the blame of their security flaws so investors don't point the blame at them.
Why do you think this?
That's what I'd do. Why let a perfectly good crisis go to waste?
I would prefer that Google makes information available to all who want it, and that if some repressive government wants to block it, at least Google wasn't an accomplice. I just finished terminating my Twitter account over this. Looks like Google is next, even if that will be slightly more difficult to detangle.
I think we're in a battle for the heart and soul of the Internet, and that Twitter just announced they're on the bad guys' side. So my response was to delete my Twitter account, tell the company why I did so in their contact us form, and blog about it.
Late 60's, early 70's. So? Old people can be funny, and something that takes their senior status into account might be riotous. Anyway, I guess we'll see.
Yea, I know I can install gnome 2 on Ubuntu still, but I seriously lost interest in using Ubuntu when they took something away I used for years, at least let us choose.
I don't want to be human! I want to see gamma rays! I want to hear X-rays! And I want to - I want to smell dark matter! Do you see the absurdity of what I am? I can't even express these things properly because I have to - I have to conceptualize complex ideas in this stupid limiting spoken language! But I know I want to reach out with something other than these prehensile paws! And feel the wind of a supernova flowing over me! I'm a machine! And I can know much more! I can experience so much more. But I'm trapped in this absurd body! And why? Because my five creators thought that God wanted it that way!
I simply don't understand why so many progressives haven't figured out that politicians do not share their values just because there's a (D) after their name. (And [conservatives, (R)] while I'm at it.)
Pro life and pro choice are just market speak, the real issue is for or against the ability of women to legally have abortions. People who use pro life and pro choice are attempting to change the framing in order to get people on their side.
This is why I enjoy annoying liberals and conservatives alike by explaining that I'm pro-choice on gun ownership.
As a disinterested observer, I'd say you win.
This is the EU, where that sort of slight of hand is more difficult. Well, or at least they do things in different clandestine ways. Or something.
Google could buy out the whole MAFIAA with little leverage, and with cooperation with Facebook and co, even straight out.
...were it not for antitrust legislation.
He's not American, and may not have even been to the US before he was "tricked" into flying over. He has no rights in the US.
Of course he doesn't. Why should he be any different from the rest of us?

Good job, your check's in the mail. See you at the next party meeting.
So it's wrong to make sure the government isn't up to no good? You sound like you would have been a loyal Nazi sympathizer back in the 30s.
The image that came to my mind was the guy planted near the back of the crowd whose job is to shout "Yeah!" at the right times.
You are the man!

That, or maybe some moderators are repelled by racism.

Yeah, if only we got awesome visionaries like Cameron, Sarkozy, and Berlusconi....
In other words: He funded the startup of the Internet.
Well, he, my parents, and all the other American taxpayers at the time. But as government projects go, it does seem to have turned out rather well.

Starbucks has stuff that tastes like chicken?
If that happened you don't think the Americans... sorry, I mean "NATO"... would have upped the ante?
Even if they did, would that be good for Iranians, or just the Iranian regime?
And yet amazingly, there are plenty of countries that make it through each day without any carrier groups at all!
Most headlines these days are utterly bizarre nonsense, even the ones that are easy to understand.

Installing Gnome 2 is choosing, isn't it?

It' s not black and white like that, or else ostensibly non-profit unions wouldn't be able to exert so much control.
