    He still hacked and deserves what he got, but Marriott is just trying to shift the blame of their security flaws so investors don't point the blame at them.

    Why do you think this?

    That's what I'd do. Why let a perfectly good crisis go to waste?

    The image that came to my mind was the guy planted near the back of the crowd whose job is to shout "Yeah!" at the right times.

    I would prefer that Google makes information available to all who want it, and that if some repressive government wants to block it, at least Google wasn't an accomplice. I just finished terminating my Twitter account over this. Looks like Google is next, even if that will be slightly more difficult to detangle.

    I think we're in a battle for the heart and soul of the Internet, and that Twitter just announced they're on the bad guys' side. So my response was to delete my Twitter account, tell the company why I did so in their contact us form, and blog about it.

    Yea, I know I can install gnome 2 on Ubuntu still, but I seriously lost interest in using Ubuntu when they took something away I used for years, at least let us choose.

    Pro life and pro choice are just market speak, the real issue is for or against the ability of women to legally have abortions. People who use pro life and pro choice are attempting to change the framing in order to get people on their side.

    This is why I enjoy annoying liberals and conservatives alike by explaining that I'm pro-choice on gun ownership.
