    None of which were consistent with the actual content of Christianity.

    The statement I was responding to (and quoted in my reply) was "committed in the name of" not "consistent with". However, it could be argued that they were consistent with the interpretation of Christianity of those groups at the time.

    Just like Al-Qaeda uses their particular interpretation of the Qur'an to justify their actions today.

    Name me one wicked action that was committed in the name of religion.

    I can't name one wicked action but I can name several.

    How about The Crusades (1095-1291) which were primarily against the Muslims but also triggered increased persecution of Jews.
    How about:
            the Medieval Inquisition (1231-16th century)
            the Spanish Inquisition (1478-1834)
            the Portuguese Inquisition (1536-1821)
            the Roman Inquisition (1542-c. 1860)
    How about the numerous witch trials from the 15th to the 18th centuries.

    Yeah, nothing wicked there.

    In this case there were no real "facts" to independently verify but I agree that your approach is generally better. Too bad more people don't inform themselves before posting here but then it wouldn't be Slashdot would it?

    You are sooooo clever pointing out that a non-SQL DBMS is not vulnerable to SQL injection attacks. This just in...neither is my coffee machine which is equally relevant to the discussion.

    SQL injection attacks can affect any web based application in any technology so long as user input is not escaped or is used non-prepared statements.

    PHP is no more or less vulnerable.

    While I concede that things are not quite as black and white as I stated, I also don't think there as sinister as you suggest. Reality is probably somewhere in between. After all, Thai politics are every shade of grey and then some.

    The King is a constitutional monarch like Queen Elizabeth. He has no control over what laws are passed or how they are enforced. The only point he has any power to step in is after people have been sentenced when he routinely pardons them.

    The King isn't responsible for the law or how it is used/abused by the government. He is a constitutional monarch and has no more control over the laws of Thailand than Queen Elizabeth has over the laws of Britain.

    The King has even stated that he is not above criticism and usually pardons people after they have been sentenced which is the first point in the process where he has any constitutional power that he can exercise.

    Look at the end of the location bar. When the refresh/reload button is immediately after the location bar it becomes part of the location bar. If you customize the toolbar and move it somewhere else it will revert to it's previous appearance.
