Do you honestly think Nexuiz has 'brand recognition'?

This style of game doesn't sell well on the consoles at all. Unreal Tournament has real brand recognition, and it was an utter failure on the consoles. People have moved on from run-and-gun deathmatch.

Using two isolated examples as some sort of failure of the labor movement, as a whole, is intellectually dishonest.

The labor movement put a stop to child labor, indentured servitude, and gave the workers rights that the robber barons denied them. You can hate unions all you like, but don't try to play it off like the labor movement had no positive results. They're one of the main reasons there is such a thing as a middle class.

Read up on the labor movement of the early 1900's, or the era of the robber baron, and tell me that capitalists have a good track record with civil rights. They don't. China is a perfect real world example of why capitalists still doesn't have a good track record on civil rights.

You're describing an Anarcho-Capitalist form of government, and that is not what we have here. Companies are not legally free to do business with whoever they want. We have sanctions against Iran, North Korea, Cuba, etc. etc., that block companies from trading with certain countries.

Now granted a lot of corporations find legal loopholes to get around this, but the fact is that our government has always put limits on who we can trade with. We do not have anarcho-capitalism here, and we never will.

Oh go cry a river you conservative cry-baby.

I don't remember conservatives giving two shits about transparency during the Bush years. Hell the VP back then had Enron in on private energy meetings that just so happened to coincide with California's manufactured 'energy crisis'.

In fact, if you gave one ounce of care about transparency you'd know that the entire health bill is online, and has been for months. Look up H.R. 3590 on thomas.loc.gov

Actually I'd have to agree. It felt like a cheap Quake 3 clone, which is basically all it is.

I'm not trying to be a troll here either, but when I see the types of games my nephews play on their 360, I just know this game will 'miss the mark' for that group of gamers. As an example. About a month ago I showed them Quake Live. I could see the interest drain from their faces after playing it for about 5 minutes. Then they were back on the 360 playing Modern Warfare 2 and whatever the newest flavor of Halo is.

Ask Epic how Unreal Tournament 3 did. People don't seem to want the arcade style Quake/UT shooters anymore. If they want to succeed they need to update other things besides the engine... The only non-realistic online shooter that has done well at all in the past few years is Team Fortress 2. Good luck competing with that.
