I find it interesting that while you appear to know a portion of the history of this machine that you would make a ridiculous statement like this. The machine was obtained during war hardly theft. Countless Allied lives were saved by Bletchley Park's possession of the machine.
I have both the new and the old version of the Microsoft Natural and have been using the old for over 3 years with no issues or keyboard related down time. My biggest problem is when I have to assist a user at work with their machine and have to use an old flat board just five or ten minutes and the wrists start to throb. Once you start you can't go back.
