    Slashdot BETA doesn't appear to support Unicode either, for that matter.

    Now, though, Seagate is not Miniscribe.

    Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe Seagate absorbed Miniscribe by way of Maxtor. I wouldn't be so sure that 'shipping bricks' isn't in their patent portfolio.

    I would love to hear from Cyberbunker on why they are providing hosting to a spammer. Oh wait, I just found their AUP that's linked from their website:

    you get an article put up on a major news site that features the company name and alludes that they've been stalking their customers.

    Your comment makes me wonder if bsd running companies will become the next logical target if enforcing the FAT patents proves to hold any value whatsoever, even if only gaining a settlement.

    I suspect microsoft believes it holds at least as many patents for technology within bsd as it does for linux, but are concentrating on one target at a time. Any wins they have in the fight against linux will only make their patent arsenal stronger when they turn their guns on bsd.
