So Atheists are unwelcome. So much for that organization. Making belief in sky fairies a requirement for membership speaks a lot about Mason values and priorities.
Actually, Yes I do believe it speaks loud and clear about our values.
I understand enjoying the comradery and brotherhood of it (I'm an Eagle Scout myself) but what purpose does being a Freemason serve in your life and what do you enjoy most about it?
I am an Eagle Scout as well and a 30 yr Freemason (Past and current Master). Our main objective is not as you said to be more likely to do business with other Freemasons (though that does occur...don't you prefer to do business with people that you know as opposed to strangers?). Our objective is to help make good men even better. I am sure there are probably many men in your community that are masons that you might talk to for better information. We are an organization with secrets, not a secret organization.

NASA TV had a video of this on this past weekend. The pics look like they came from the video, same angles and all. this is kind of sad but, what a great experiment they were. Hope one of them ends up at Wright-Patterson AFB Museum, I love to see one up close.
Really? I beg to differ. We in Ohio have taken cuts for the last 10 or more years, yet we are expected to do more with less and less. We provide everything that other government agencies don't want to provide. "Let's close down the jobs & family Services offices...we'll send them to the library. They have lots of staff to help our clients....." Yeah, right. I wish we had all of the resources that people "think" that we have.
Yeah I could go for that! I'm the tech for a county library in SE Ohio & guess what... we can't get fiber and we are less than a block from the phone company!
Okay! I'm not the only nut in the world who thinks that a phone should be just a phone.
Signed a stupid old man who will undoubtedly get tagged as flamebait or some such just because he's dumb enough to think that his opinion matters somehow.
Now there's a novel concept! I (& I assume most everyone in this forum) have to work for a living and the things I have. Guess I'll never understand why some people believe it is their "right" to take those thing from us.
I think any brightly colored car would have the same effect. They all say "Look at me!". That's that last thing a car thief want's, to have attention brought upon them.
They do have a way to detect the rootkit.......it's call the malicious software removal tool.

I just don't know whether to sit on the fence or stand on one side or the other on this one. I worked with a Canadian for a while and he told tales of the nightmare that Canadian health care is. To hear him tell it....socialized heath care is everything but good heath care.
We recently switched to WildBlue satellite internet service and it has a fair amount of latency. No big deal really but it would be too much for Skype and you have to assume that the same problem would hold true for any sat service. (BTW WildBlue is awesome compared to the dial-up rurals have to put up with:)
That's not exactly how I interpreted it. I took it to mean that the news would be dished to me (along with adverts) because of what I had searched for before. Since I work in IT, that means I would get nothing but IT news when I log in at work & at home?
Sorry, but I have a little trouble with force feeding. I don't have a Speedy Rewards card or any thing of the type. They are just used to find a subject that advertisers think they might make money from me. I send junk mail back to the sender in their own prepaid envelope (I'm tired of paying the trashman to haul it off). I'm also an old fart with 6 Grand kids and a GG Kid. I like my privacy and have a problem with the "Internet is everything generation". Seems a strange contradiction for an IT guy but, isn't life just a strange contradiction?:)
If this comes to pass, I guess that I'll try another search engine, I want what I want not all the junk that Google (or anyone else) thinks that I want.
I know exactly what you mean. If you've every read Rainbow Six by Tom Clancy, it's the same scenario. A company (in this instance a drug company) having the power & will to do what they want.

Sorry, I think you got whooshed!
Sorry but could you clarify? What is Whooshed?

May seem a little callous but, here goes...........A NOT so smart bomb!

Amen!
You think a thief's friends are going to be impressed by that? Please.
Your point is well taken

Point taken..........fewer bots and such.

Yes, my comment is redundant but, if you look at the times, they are 2 minutes apart. I was editing mine when he posted his. Sorry about that.
Microsoft is now complaining ......... IBM is so anticompetitive that governments should intervene.
Talk about the pot calling the kettle black!
You live in Central New York? ;)
No, Southeastern Ohio :^)
It's done nothing but storm for a week here & we haven't had a seconds trouble with it. TV has gone out a couple of times but not WB.
