for some reason, firefox does not anti-alias text in custom fonts. for example, go to html5test.com. the score is very jaggy. the same font on chrome looks ultra smooth. is this a firefox problem or is it just me and my horrible vista?
the latency you see listed next to server names is only the network lag. almost 40-100ms is added on top of that by your system. so actually, 150ms of total lag in on live is quite good.
It's not about consoles only. Your PC has the same problem. An average input lag of 5ms is impossible because when you take a game that renders at 60fps, every frame is roughly 16ms on the screen. If you push a button, then your action won't be visible until the next frame.
