no, if you love it and are satisfied, say "I'm completely satisfied. It is worth the money I paid for it." but you cannot say that it is a marvelous piece if engineering if you don't know how others are doing the same thing. for example, a person from the 1930s may see a crappy ford figo of today and be amazed at its awesomeness. if he has not seen other cars of our time he will say, "that's a marvelous piece of technology!!" and he would be wrong. just like the anon i replied to.

Quite the contrary, this iPhone gets much better reception than my previous iPhones.

for years now, i haven't experienced a change in the reception of any cellphone i've used (never used iphone). that's because there are standards for reception quality. every proper phone follows them. so, even a decade old nokia has the same great reception as the latest n8. if you experience "much better reception" from this iphone over previous generations, that only means that the previous ones were utter shit. and we have not even talked about the problems many people are getting with reception on the present gen (the one you say has much better reception). so apparently, iphone is still utter shit.

if you are talking about something that is common to both linux and unix THEN you can interchange them whenever you like.
on the other hand, in the gp's case both him and the person he replied to are clearly talking about the same device. there is no ambiguity. so there is no need to be all picky about it.

how does the brain know how many steps to take? in what direction? at what height to keep the hand? rotated at what angle?how much to move the hand backward to lessen the impact?
does the brain just do a search in a huge all encompassing database. storing all sorts of cases in a database would require terabytes of memory, it seems to me. the solution is not as simple as 'action of raising the hand and catching the ball'. its different every time. different according to wind direction. different according to hardness of the ball. etc etc.

If a dirty ball is thrown at me, my brain will react by trying to avoid the ball.

this is called logical reasoning. its something computers inherently do. the brain is a complex computer. it does this without apparent effort.

where's the fucking volume slider? this is supposed to be a showcase of what html5 can do?
well let me tell you what flash can do. we had a big cricket league here in india called ipl. youtube streamed all matches live. there was a huge advertising campaign. the problem is that here we have a huge shortage of bandwidth. most people are on 512kbps or 2mbps adsl. when watching normal videos on youtube, it buffers for about 30 seconds and then plays without break. this is completely unacceptable for live streaming.
the player was all flash. it monitored your bandwidth in realtime and adjusted the quality on the fly. there was an option to watch alternate video streams and do picture-in-picture. when you do that, the quality of the main feed was automatically lowered and bandwidth freed up for the alternate feeds.
then there was overlay advertising. i know, ads are bad and what-not, but you can't expect youtube to pay a huge licensing fee and not recover that money.
the fact is that this would be fucking impossible without flash.
please give me a better example of html5, not the sorry implementation which lacks even a volume slider.
