This is privacy for security,.. sony will be able to track when you are online and where you are, with there gps module,.. this is not something i'm waiting for and what if there is an exploit in the system and it gets widely available to hackers,.. nothing is perfect, but such things shouldn't be in a computer, this is asking for trouble.
If you ask me as long as I'm occupied with a subject I don't forget about it and I'm 28, so I don't have those issues your talking about just yet, what I was getting to, since you're forgetting about them is probably due the fact that you're not actively talking/working/whatever on that topic. What makes me wonder why it is important to you.
no one is supposed to keep a lot of info bouncing around, as long as you are able think logic you should be fine and don't be afraid to ask anything. If you are not afraid to ask you will be fine. Why are most people afraid to ask anything if they don't know the answer. You are not smart because you know everything, then you just know a lot, one is smart if he understands what he knows and is able to establish understanding in various concepts easily, so no point knowing everything just a waste of time, knowing everything !
You just said that it was the moving air that created the sound, I don't see how anti-gravity is going to prevent this movement, but anyways.. I think the best way is to improve the aerodynamics of the plain so they will get less resistance and create less turbulence. Probably why NASA is involved, since they have a lot of experience with aerodynamics..
Instead of coming up with plans on how they could filter internet traffic,.. which they can't because once these providers notice this, they will just introduce ssl and there back where they started, worse they made it even harder to spot, you can not control the internet with filters or whatever, when are these morons going to learn this,.. they can better use this money that there using for these filters to assemble a team which looks for this stuff and have them report it to the appropriate authorities.
It's time that they put people in charge who know what they are talking about, instead of some idiots who think they know. Now they have spend all there time arguing about something which can never succeed, spend all this tax money and efforts for nothing.

A truly paranoid user should use openbsd and not linux ! Which is safe by design and even banned from hack contests, and has proven this year after year after year, this isn't just some alpha release which still needs to prove itself year after year after year !

it depends, if you're continuously doing root tasks such as configuring daemons and so forth.. then there is no point not going root ..
