I find it very anoying when maps are converted to jpegs and loose important detail. Some intelligence is required when choosing a format to store images with.
This story is just a pile of crap. It was just while the site was being developed that Netscape and other browsers weren't working correctly, that for the most part, has been fixed.
Actually Win2k isn't too bad. As a software developer I have used Win2k for over year now and it has only blue screened once. I do tend push the machine quite a bit, so I have to say that micrsoft is slowly getting there act together. I used to be like most slashdotters and be competely anti-microsoft but recently I am starting to change my mind. My question is, What is Microsoft doing to ensure that it software is of good quality and does't slip back to it old ways.
Yes I agree whole heartedly. CS courses tend to concentarte on the Buisness world. Students are told about how much the can earn and therefore expect a lucrative career in the business world, far beyond what a University can afford. Science graduates however have a general degree and are much more open to what they do.
CCD cameras react to IR light. CMOS cameras don't. Although i have only seen CMOS cameras in web cams, not in decent cameras.
The Super Fat Agnus was also known as the Obese Agnus. Perhaps it wan't the official name but it was a common name.
They did that ages ago. The later Agnus chips were called Obese Agnus, which was the successor to Fat Agnus.
It is the same with all academic subjects. Like solving physics problems, without text books to give you base equations to start from.
FreeBSD = communism = evil
Jesus Christ helped people for free with food , wine and health etc
so
Christ = communism = evil
Micrsoft not free therefore not evil
so
Christ = evil = not Bill Gates
therefore
Bill gates = anti Christ

For the pedantic, looking at the photos it looks like a new white 64C rather than the older C64.
The ACCC is an independant body that has nothing to do with the Howard Government
Yeah but thats what i do already. I would prefer not to have my pc set up in the lounge at all.
