I'm confused that the article thinks that this is a new concept. Many wastewater treatment plants already make use of the methane gas for on-site power generation.
For example, East Bay MUD in California generates 90% of its power requirements at the primary treatment plant.
Did anyone really expect the OHA to be a real collaborative effort? By getting the big names on the OHA list you bolster OEM and consumer confidence in Google's platform. It doesn't really matter if the members of the OHA have not made any meaningful contributions other than their names. The names were enough to get the product out and get people using it.

Evoluent Vertical Mouse
If you have to use a mouse, it might as well be one that isn't going to destroy your wrist.
