    I'm just curios what were going to do about this human caused storm shrinking. If people would just stop driving there SUVs these kind of things wouldn't happen.

    My guess:

    HEADLINE: "Code stolen from (unknown company) that calculates (some random data) STOLEN!!!"

    doesn't really relate to anyone where:

    HEADLINE: "(a movie you probably want to see) has been STOLEN!!!"

    Many more people will relate to and understand. News comes down to numbers.

    As George Orwell pointed out:

    Full belief comes when you truly believe 2+2=5. Although when it is important such as when counting things you will count them as 2+2=4. But when the party asks you will always answer with the true answer that 2+2=5. You have to be a master of doublethink in order to blindly understand it.

    I think the appropriate term shouldn't be "global warming" or "climate change." The best word to fit would be "weather"

    whether the weather is cold
    or whether the weather is hot
    we're going to have weather
    whether or not.

    That's the problem with predictions, when everyone has a different one some will be right. It's not much different than the 9/11 FBI reports about possible terrorist flight training happening in Arizona that actually turned out to be where they learned to fly commercial plans. In hind sight we think why didn't we take them serious. At the time, the report was dropped in the bucket with 20,000 other similar reports that all turned out to be false.

    I mean if I went around claiming to be faster just because I was hard coded in C they'd put me away. We have to take it in terms that a JIT engine can optimize code in real time much better than a precompiled binary. Now you see the slowdown inherit in the system.

    so far, the only movies i've pirated are ones I saw in the theater and wanted to see again. I would find a cam version and watch it, sometimes a couple of times. I then will usually buy the DVD. When there is a movie that I like it is purely convince for me to download it, but then I am someone who can enjoy watching the same movie several times. I know many people who can only stand to see a movie once.
