    except if someone loses due to missing votes from a 3rd party, that party may run someone closer to the 3rd parties views next time. This happened to a slight degree this last election. Many republicans lost in 2006 due in part to the large turnout of Libertarian voters. The Teabag the Democrats party formed within the republicans to answer this and this last election shows the results of that.

    If you don't vote for what you want, you will always get what you don't want.

    I have a nearly 20 year old PC that I use daily to play games and such. Been playing SCII most of the day on it.

    Of course it's been though a few upgrades, motherboard, videocard, proc, memory, powersupply, case, hard drives, at one time or another has been upgrade floppy upgraded to cd upgraded to dvd, but it's still the same computer. Actually i think the only thing in it that is 20 years old is the floppy drive. and it's not even plugged in anymore, just occupying the bay.

    As I said, prices would go up and bring demand down. There is no other way to do this. We can do that when(/if) it happens, or we can just have higher prices now and remove dependence on foreign oil now.

    Using != Dependent on.

    Just because I partake in teh vendor supplied free lunch doesn't mean I depend on it for sustenance. With our strategic reserve as well as maximum production capacity we could run the country for quite some time with no foreign oil. It would be more expensive of course, so why wouldn't we purchase cheaper foreign oil while it's available?
