Fully agreed. I always set up my KDE to act in this way (or at least I did on my old 3.5 installs. Haven't delved into 4 deeply enough yet to find that particular feature).
Slightly off-topic: Another thing that really bugs me is that under Windows, scrolling applies to the window with focus, and, even worse, the widget with focus. So I'll hover over a folder-view at the right, and scroll, and it'll scroll my text box.;_;
How often do you reboot your phone? Phones work slightly differently in this respect as they're always on. But a bigger, beefier system (like those running ChromeOS) presumably can't afford the battery life to be always on. (of course, implementing proper standby would also be a valid option:P)
My browser supports bittorrent downloads in-browser:-) Admittedly it doesn't support built-in image/video display/playback, so that's a bit of a downside.:-( (elinks, for those who are lost)
Actually, in my (limited) experience it's the people who aren't capable of burning their own CDs who are the most likely to keep using Linux. Firstly they have rather limited needs out of their computer (now I always run Linux, and I'm a big fan, but you must admit it's easier to convert people who only need a word processor than those used to playing all the latest games on their SLI Windows boxen). Secondly, they haven't really gotten used to Windows, so "I have to look through the menus to find things rather than pressing the shortcut I'm used to" is the default state of affairs for them. So yeah, don't underestimate the power of normal users:-)

That won't be confusing.
I say that as a KDE Software Compilation user.

Actually, Gundams are programmed in Visual Basic... (At least, they were in Gundam Wing, IIRC)
Is that because it's actually called Music Of Supermarkets, or is that a separate album?

Because he can?
Arrogance? Between you and the GP, it's trivial to tell the arrogant one.
For those of us who don't understand, what is the relevance here?
Now, I haven't RTFA, but just because you're working towards an impossible goal doesn't mean you shouldn't get as close as you can.
The definition where you update the software, and it no longer has the problem? What definition of "fix" does the rest of the world use?

Off-topic, but to answer to your sig: AVG LinkScanner.
So... like Windows then?
Why not? I hear people use the iPhone App Store on occasion...
Can you give me a good reason why no-one will download from repositories? (I'm sure they won't know what a repository is, but...)
