This might be modded down as offtopic, given that I don't want to start pointing fingers at anyone (at least until the investigation has finished), but I was just pondering the following:
Given that about 1 in every 3.4 million flights crash (http://www.planecrashinfo.com/cause.htm), does anyone think it's rather unlucky that Malaysian Airlines have had 2 flights crash in the space of 4 months, and that both of those had Kuala Lumpur as either the start or the end point? Is this simply bad luck, or is there something special about Kuala Lumpur?
If your computer is old or slow, I suggest Xubuntu which I've switched my old P4 to after the regular Ubuntu got a little too GUI intensive
Xubuntu (Ubuntu with the XFCE window manager) is very Windows-like, quick and very reliable. A couple of years ago I installed it for my brother (who can barely work out how to use a TV remote control) and since then he's been very happy with it. Then again, the only thing he's used it for is eBay and porn so maybe he's not the best example.
I set a computer up for a nun once and she thought you had to talk into the mouse. We shouldn't be too hard on her though - Scotty made that same mistake in Star Trek IV.

If open source software is socialist, that means the UK Conservative Party has taken a very sharp turn to the left. Or maybe they've just realised it makes good sense?
