I'm still in high school but I've been doing computer contest for about 4 years now. I don't except anything I learnt to be useful in the "real world".

I do think that the contest have and will help me in the future. The people how write these contest are normally the top students. Thus I would hope that at least some of them will do well in the "real world" and I will know them. This is what I see coming out of these contest... contacts.

(PS I also have lots of fun... but that might just be me)

... What every you do, do NOT show the movie they made out of the book. I had to sit through that in grade 11. It is one of the worst book movies I've ever seen.

Also see you can get a later addition of the book where Ray Bradbury writes on the censorship of his book. This is a great addition to the read.

What about K-Meleon? This is IMHO one of the best *browsers* (i.e. no mail client, no news client, no blot) out there. It uses the gecko (i.e. Mozilla's) rendering engine. It's open source (GPLed). It's almost completely bug less (and the bugs are all UI, not the "I can delete your hard drive" variety). It's multi-lingual. It's secure. It's easy. And to your question it's small (3.89 mb). It kicks butt.

With that said, I still thought this was a good book. But by far the best part was the end where the author talks directly to the reader. He explains how angry he was that people would take a book about censorship and censor it. He gives the example of a school that censored out all the profanity in his book. He also talks about how bad the movie was. (And trust me it sucked!)

P.S. Do any of you know if this is in all the versions of the book or just the school version?
