Every language has good and bad points. The python documentation and website contains a lot of advocacy articles, which point to all the goot things (TM) in Python, but no mention of the bad points.
What are the bad points in Python ?
What kind (or size) of project should not be written in Python ?
When should one use a different language ?
Can be free, since Microsoft gives the source to some academic institutions.
At my school I've seen a notice a lab course, in which the NT sources are examined and extended to support experimental services and algorithms.
Actually, Linux is a DOS App. I know, because Loadlin is a protected-mode program that runs Linux from DOS! DOS lets the program do whatever it wants. I mean, it's the running program, right?
Yeah, but you're expected to be able to return to DOS after playing the game. Which causes no end of annoyances... Saving the pointer to the INT9 handler, hmph
In other words: Linux is a buggy DOS app. It can't even return to DOS.
There are versions of VB, COM and ADO for Windows CE. I guess it will be much easier to port to Windows CE rathar than PalmOS.

Actually, the NT kernel is written in C and assembly language.
I guess you won't be using those anytime soon ?
And it might even be useful someday ...
As long it is hidden.
And I mean, VERY WELL HIDDEN.
Please explain, usign short and simple words, how exactly COM is a design flaw.
Indeed, it is leaking memory amazingly fast, and smooth too.
