  1. What happened to parents??? on FCC Mulling More Control For Electronic Media · · Score: 3, Insightful

Why aren't parents being held responsible for censoring their own children? It's the parents the put the computer in their room in the first place. Why should the government have to control what kids have access to?

We need to vote out every incumbent now. Turn over the entire cart and start fresh with no tolerance for this junk anymore.

And by "junk" I mean bullshit.

I could not agree with you more! But how do we make this a reality? Too many old people vote along party lines for nothing better to do, and young people believe the lies they are fed.

  7. How did Mac score that high?!! on Mac Tax, Dell Tax, HP Tax · · Score: 1

1 point for the aluminum case that dents so easy, and causes Apple to decline warranty repairs based on it? 1 point for having firewire - a technology that they invented and are now in the process of abandoning? 1 point for "environmental impact" - how does that work into the price tag comparison? And Mac got the bonus point for having two crappy video cards instead of one good one? Something tells me the article is slightly biased...

  8. Re:I'm still waiting for the Tata Touch... on World's Cheapest Car Goes On Sale In India · · Score: 1

In a country where streets are already densely packed with walking people, people packed on two wheeled traffic, and older vehicles... do we really need to add a few million MORE internal combustion engines virtually overnight? I would not be surprised to see little India surpass the US in pollution production once this car settles in.

Well, if it allows 4 people to ride on one vehicle instead of riding on 4 moped/motorcycles, then I would say it would work wonderfully.
