I do agree that blocking dialpad.com is wrong, but I do not think it is a violation of the 1st. I am no lawyer, but I think that ISP/University has the right to cut out content/services that they do not want to be running over their networks.
When I am doing work on my computer, I do not want my favorite tv show going on in the corner. I'd rather be sitting in front of the tv if I am going to be watching tv.
Will iCraveTV be missed by anyone?

Apple is just releasing the code to the core of the operating system. It is called Darwin. Most of the APIs will be closed sourced. They have released a networking API under the APSL.
Yes, a lot of websites do make money on ads, but not enough money to make running a ISP worth while. Most of these ad-based companies on the net are loseing money. They are just fighting for market share. So they can have more poeple see the banners. But...
Tell me how many banner ads you click on or even notice. When I look at a page, I do not even notice the banners or the ads on the side.

Hello, I am a fairly new linux user, but I am sure others have the same question:
What are the differences between Solaris and Linux?
From what I've seen, they look very similar. Thanks to all.
