What EV on the market today can haul a boxload of plywood or 4x4s over a muddy road? Almost every trip into town will likely be carrying heavy supplies. Just where I am, doing home renos, we need heavy loads from town. I can't imagine running a farm.

  2. Furthermore, since we brought up Trump, he has failed to bring up wages in the country. Perhaps if these people had an opportunity greater than working their fingers to the bone making minimum wage then they would be motivated otherwise.

  3. Do you want to pay for their education? Granted, some of them cannot be saved but a lot of them have been shown a life of crime is the easiest route. I really hate to use Trump as an example, but...

  4. If it claims to use AI for something that cannot be programmed, then it is fundamentally flawed at least for the next 25 years or so.

Corporations are against paying taxes in general. Look at the pullout from NY. They don't pay their way in society.

  8. Right.. just drive up to anyone's house and ask to plug in for a few hours. That's going to work.

  9. Yet I'm sure Amazon isn't kind to go lightly on their employees who find public transport inadequate to get into work reliably.

  10. Ok well when people in remote areas start buying them you may have a point. For Canada in the winter, running out of battey power can mean death. And cold saps battery energy by 40% before you turn on the heaters.

  11. I've already spend my money for the rental ON the EV. That's all I'm saying.

  12. In Canada, we don't have enough gas stations in a lot of places. Who can afford a second car or rental to take you everywhere you need to go when you have already sunk $30K+ on an EV??

  13. I played a lot of video games. They didn't make me violent, but my social skills probably would have been a lot better; and that was important in the world as it turns out.

Thank you. I was feeling crazy. No one else is talking about this. We need much better from the EV industry that's for sure. I'll mention French farmers a second time.

I love cats and I have cats, and I also love dogs just never had any. It's a bad idea to feed any wild animal however. They will just multiply until the food is exhausted anyway. The only responsible thing to do is to capture them, fix them, and give good homes to all the ones you can.
