I used to buy a very small PC to watch media with. Since HECV became popular the price of a build went from $150 to $450 so now it makes a lot more sense to just buy an Android box.
Cops in Canada don't consider it their job to make the judgement call on whether you broke the law due to certain conditions. If they see you, you broke the law. Feel free to wait in line for 7 hours for a chance to state your case. I had a friend that had her purse tip when she stopped at a stop light and she picked up her phone from the floor because the floor was wet and dirty, etc. Well a bike cop was driving by on the curb side and gave her a ticket (still stopped). Didn't matter that the phone wasn't on.
I hope this is optional! Apple FORCES me to use my iPhone or my Mac for 2FA and I don't have them with me all the time. Sorry, I'm not an apple person. My iPhone is a test device only.
As long as I don't ever need to use iTunes again I'll be happy. When it came out it had about 10% of the capability of the software I was using, 200% of the bloat and 1000% of the advertising.
I'm no physicist, but I just can't fathom how a vehicle that has to fight gravity for the entire duration of the trip could ever be more efficient than something that rolls along the ground.
I don't agree with what you are saying. Just because it is difficult to run a business doesn't mean the business is giving the employee a fair return on their labor.
And if the president gets the wall, then everyone has a free end-run around the constitution. All they have to do is have an idea that saves more lives than the wall.. like forbidding paper clips.
Like Marx said, the problem with capitalism is that it relies on undervaluing labor. If a mechanic works for a garage chain and they can get $200 an hour fixing cars then they should be getting paid $200 an hour. But they get paid $20 an hour and the company keeps the rest because they happened to have the money up front for a garage. The truly fair way to do it would be to allow the mechanic to pay off the garage and then make the full $200 an hour.
Why would I pay for automation when I don't own the company? I'm the one who is learning how to use the automation and I am producing more for the company. If my salary is not in line with my productivity as an employee how am I getting a fair deal?
Yeah, Igw and I are really lovers in real life! Seriously though. I don't have anything against anyone here. I was set aback the first time someone called me an a moron. Slashdot is debating in the purest sense, and some times it gets raw here. I find i ta nice break from the much more PC forums I am in.
I'm not saying you have to like the discussions here, but I have found growing a thicker skin to be helpful in life. I have had to work with people worse than anyone here.
Are you insinuating that a Tesla is anywhere close to a self-driving car?
geo-fenced.. in other words it will run around a pre-defined circuit in a walled compound.
You know what, I had that in my head when I was typing it but the joke just didn't seem as funny that way.
Ok well I'm in Canada so $200 becomes $300. Is that a full system with decent sound / hdmi out or do I need to buy a sound card and case?
When I was looking before, there was no ITX board that had hardware decoding for HECV.
Why should we be the ones to leave North America?

Who is the idiot who didn't think this would be the case? Hint: So do smartphones, Uber, your "smart TV", Facebook and Uber.
All that matters is where people are happiest.

And that employee is free to go to another employer.
? But that other employer will be just as opportunistic!
But a flying car isn't a flying car if it has wings, that's an airplane. A flying car will need to be something more like a large drone.
Except it was "branded" as a music player and utility but was just really 80% a retail store.

I sprayed my cat with Vantablack, now she's just a two dimensional shape shifting blob moving around.

Well I'm not happy with a 4% annual raise, let's put it that way.

1% a year is pretty large if you are guaranteed that growth constantly for 50 years. The first time there is a recession it will be out the window.
Comment above posted to wrong person.

How many thefts before the police tell you to screw off and keep valuable electronics inside your house?
