Both the Libertarians and Greens say that they are above left/right pollitics. But what happens when to try to squeeze them in there?
This depends on how you decide how left and right differs. To me, minimizing government and putting power in the hands of powerfull companies puts the Libertarians on the right:
From the left: Communist Party, Socialist, Green; and on the right Democrats, Republicans, Libertarians, and way the hell over there Pat.
How about splitting "Protecting the vulnerable (i.e. environment)" into "Protecting the vulnerable" and "Clean air/water/soil, and sustainable environmental practices."?
This brings up an interesting issue. Why do all subscription/registration systems provide Sign Up Here! methods, but not Get Out Now! methods?
I tried to get rid of my Amazon account (I cancelled an order [and got it cheaper at BN] and been boycotting them since the patent thing) and had to individually delete a bunch of info sets. Got his email today from'em:

"Oh shit! Remember those probes we sent to Y3325.3? Well it turns out our power source leaked and resulted in the most horrible mutations, gastly stuff... I say we send a Harry Truman android down there and don't mention this to anyone."
The "Southern (of the equator yall) exposure" (based on the title of an Usana [of the USA] TV [television] program "Northern exposure" taking place in Alaska) part was indicating that.
<FONT COLOR="#FFFFFF">Science</FONT> actually. This is when linkable topics are given before the article title, and viewing in Light (reduce the complexity of Slashdot's HTML for AvantGo, Lynx, or slow connections) mode, because non-Light is white on teal.
Check out CSS/XHTML for the best thing since the bread knife.
In a recent amazon.com interview you said that one of the aims of your new book Designing web usability: the practice of simplicity is to "Make the Internet easy to use: if we want to build a new economy, we have to make it simple and pleasant for normal people". What then are your thoughts on amazon's 1-Click and affiliate patents?
PS: After reading the rms boycott call I cancelled my amazon.com order for your book, and got it for US$5 less with a books.com discount thru B&N.
