  1. DDR2 on What Does a $16,000+ PC Look Like, Anyway? · · Score: 1

With $16000 they couldn't afford DDR3? It says in the article that they use DDR2-667 which seems a little to "standard" for this kind of computer.

That is the great thing about steam. If publishers insist on the fact that they are selling a license to a game at least they treat it like one with steam. You can always redownload games which to me is the only advantage to a license. It is not bound to a physical medium that can be lost, broken, or worn down over time.

The point is that the only difference between this and IVF is that the embryos are screened for desired traits. The point is you don't have to. Neither of those things you mentioned is an SDK or a compiler. Visual Studio is an IDE that includes the SDK which can be freely downloaded separately.

He specifically says *begins* with human thought. It does not *end* with human thought as you infer from his post.
    2. "Therefore when you fall asleep you cease to meet your definition of human life?"
You dream while sleeping. Therefore you are conscious while sleeping.

DRM is not designed to stop pirates forever. It is designed to stop it for the first few weeks when a game makes a large portion of its money. In that respect DRM has been successful in some cases (but not all).

I see a huge problem with this. Lets say you are chatting online with one of these mild sex offenders who just pissed off the wrong cop. Lets also say these chats are saved online so they can be viewed later by you or the sex offender. If the sex offender has to give up your password he is not only surrendering his privacy but yours as well because the government will be able to see your conversation with him. This seems like a bad invasion of privacy for you especially because you did nothing but chat with a sex offender.

I am 15 now and know many other languages but I started JavaScript at around 10. Looking back at it I think its main advantage was that no software needed to be installed for it to work. Just embed in an HTML file and take home. One of my greatest joys while learning to program was showing my parents all the neat little programs I made.
Other than that though it shouldn't really matter. If you are good at teaching they will be able to carry what learned onto other languages very well. The first language is always the hardest and I don't thing anything will change that.
