Actually Atlantic City was the only place to go for gambling on the east coast. Eventually the surrounding states wanted in on the action and opened their own casinos. That's pretty much why there has been so many failures there.

  8. I agree that Musk is very smart, but what motivates him? I've heard a lot of Tesla apologists claim that he doesn't care about money, but that is a bad thing for investors in my book. What if he gets tired of cars and decided to step away from Tesla to do something else?

  9. Comcast tried to get me to upgrade about 6th months ago for 'enhanced performance'. Since I own my router and only have a 3.5mb account of course I opted out- but the upgrade was voluntary. I really am curious behind the push for these new routers.

  10. I wouldn't be surprised if the new routers have remote troubleshooting features that will make tech support easier/cheaper. Hence the surcharge....

When has legality had anything to do with what is a 'better' car. Pretty much every car sold in the USA is 'street legal'. Street legal is just a metric, much like a quarter mile.

And no, you can't compare sushi and Ice cream, its a false dichotomy. My kids are always playing this game "What would you rather have, your foot or your hand cut off" (or some other similar comparison). Of course the choice you would like to say is 'neither'.

I don't want to live in a world where I have to eat just ice cream or sushi every day. I don't want to live in a world where sushi or ice cream just isn't available. I like having both options available when I want them and there is no need to pass a value judgement on which is 'better'.

Now you could ask me what my preference is and I might say "I prefer sushi" which is a completely different argument.
