The power from the sun is about 174PW. Thats 174 000 TW. So that "10 TW" is 0.005% of the suns power input to earth. So you quite safely ignore it.
As for wind farms. Does anyone finish there BOTE numbers. In order to get 1000GW they are going to need about 1 million 1 MW wind turbines. The total installed capacity in the world is only about 120GW. We haven't even considered the fact that the wind doesn't blow when you want it.
I agree with you generally. But I also find somewhat odd and even disturbing that they can raid you and not tell you why? How long do they keep the computers? Do you have any recourse or compensation? Something like this could make a company go bust, so I would think the raid would have to be justified properly.

And because of scope creep I must say that the only acceptable filter is no filter. The basic premise of CP or whatever is simply not good enough of a reason to give such a big stick to the government.
I don't think their "true faith" has much to do with what they advertise. They are doggy politicians that will use these things for political gain. Its not like "other" (aka less religious ones) come up with better policies. Just dirty politicians.

I think you need to realise that there are lot of people who read/. and aren't as noisy as some teenager who has never even had a job. After steam is DRM and yet most people here like it.
But having said that, I am getting sick of DVD not playing properly on my DVD player cus they want to protect their investment. The idea that I must have the CD/DVD in the computer to play the game is also irritating and quite unneeded. I have most of the ID series games (quake etc), and I have always been able to play without internet and without the CD in the computer if i want too. I won't touch steam, I don't like the stats collection, internet requirements and forced updates.
But as always its your game and you have the right to release it with whatever (almost) restrictions you want.
This is quite impossible and not really needed. Also as pointed out, its useless if the tests are meaningless. further is the bias introduced via publishing. Its easy to get "Kryptonite causes cancer" published. But getting "Chemical X totally harmless" is a lot harder sell. Also liability concerns which add further bias preventing any official line claiming something as harmless.
You could always live in a oxygen tent and only let in fully test "chemicals". But that would make the strictest vegan look like a food liberalist.
There is still a lot of this sort of study going on. Also corrections for base cancer rate in mice and rats is often not done. We use mice and rats cus that natural rate is pretty high. Finally there are a lot of things that are bad in high doses but harmless or even beneficial in small doses. Some are even needed (aka vitamin A IIRC)
My wife works with these children. I can assure that no its not. And no matter how much a doctor tells them otherwise they know that the bad behavior is ADHD/Autism etc. That way its not their problem.
Of course there are a few (very small number) that really do have Autism.

And even if it *is* that bad, its not close to the end of the world. History is interesting, you would be surprised how often big shifts have happened in the past. Sure there are more people now, but its even easier to move around than ever before.

Oh we managed to end sea food as we know it without climate change. Commercial fisheries the world over are in deep dodo.
Humankind has weathered worse. And will survive this without that much effort really.
