as we can see nothing is ever free. as much as we would like to trust our companies when they say " here, take this "free" computer and have it at home" things like this pop up and we all see that nothing is free. It becomes free at the loss of some security. There is always a cost. we must remember that before we go on in our lives
actually its 84.2% of all stats are mae up on the spot:) Actually this probably isn't a bias survey at all. AS much as we all hate to say it there are some people out there who like microsoft complete. These people don't want to take the time to learn all commands, and apps that systems like linux have to offer but since windows is so easy to use for what the majority of the country does(type papers and surf the net) they give up haveing a stable system(not to mention they constently use or the ctrl+alt+Delete buttons:)) and go with windows. Yes it hurts us all but the truth is pain.
PSX2 wasn't made to replace a computer. It made as a DVD drive and a gaming system and although it is going to rock at that, it will never replace computer. How am I going to compile my latest code with those funny little controllers:)
It's nice to hear of something created in electronics for a mission that doesn't break on it's first run. Seems that every mission we hear about somthing breaks right away or is a failure, although that is probably due to our overly negitive and always there media:). Thats a great school out there in Pittsburg and this just might show it. Man, if things like this happen, NASA might start taking notes.
now this is a very good and accurate description but I must question the motives of anyone useing Windows as a security system. I don't feel that was every made to be a security system. Evey system has its +'s and -'s but you have to look for what you want. If want something more secure then I would say Windows isn't the way to go. Open BSD should be looked upon as a better solution or somthing to that affect
I don't think I would go as far as communist,ok never mind I probably would, but there isn't a chance in heck that any country is going to make any "progress" with trying to limit anything with the internet. esp. with the stuff thats already there. As it is countris can't keep up with the growing number of people and sites on right now, how do they even think they are going to crack down on specific things like racial rips and slurs. Things like that are better left to the users of the web.
I would have to say 93 megs for a demo is a bit much as well. Although some times when you got such a good game it is hard to decide what makes the demo and what doesn't. I have to say that a 93 meg download is long even if your on DSL. Even on Campus T1 it still takes forever because everyone gets there share of the T1's speed and it is still going to take me all night. Just start it and sleep is best stragey.
