That makes a little sense for a privately traded company, but publicly trading companies, even eBay, must disclose all that information in their quaterly reports.
And searching harder, it seems obvious to me that customers should know your incompetence or intelligence.
I might buy form you only if you lie to me, because I can't "handle" the truth, which paints you in such a stupid light.
The overall problem, as I see it, is too many choices for a single choice poll.
This is your democratic voting system. You get one choice, and only the first or second place votes really count. If you voted for the third place candidate, your vote is lost in the noise.
On the other hand, if multiple choices are allowed, your vote could be the winning vote, and overturn the incumbent's lead.
"Can you seriously imagine playing multi-management games like Civilization, Myth 2, or StarCraft without a mouse and keyboard? "
Perhaps if strategy games did not involve so many redundant repetition, and allowed you to concentrate on strategy, you would not need very many controls.
Really, why can't you tell the UI/AI you want marines in perpetutity with a 1000 credit reserve, and forget about it?
Carmack commented on all the consoles in relation to his next porting job.
Dreamcast: Good thinking to include modem. Not enough memory.
PSX2: Not enough memory.
PSX: Cool architecture. No memory.
XBox: Little cramped on memory but obviously easy to port for.
Dolphin: Not mentioned by interviewer. Doh!
N64: Ditto gamecenter ignorance.

Yo dissin my LPs! Stop dissin my LPs! LPs are not dead! LPs will live forever! Long live the vinyl! Long live the circle!
Really, not being a digital format, LPs sound better than CDs and other modern junk. Unfortunately the excellent sound quality degrades too fast.
Analog. It just sounds better.
Digital. It just sounds worse.

Images are not designed for the purpose you are using them. You are reporting a BUG that you WANT, one that was fixed in 4.5. It's likely that giving you what you want will break other rendering systems and just mess everything up.
I sincerely doubt the console factor has ever limited PC development. Only nowadays could that be considered true.
Also, you contradict yourself. You "loathe" adventure games, yet you "love" Sam and Max?
There is an insufficient number of game genres for Sam and Max to be classified as anything other than Adventure.
Continuing, the most interesting console game format is the console RPG. Yet that does not translate well to the PC. Wouldn't it be ridiculous for me to suggest the PC is hold back console development?
Finally, 3d FPS action has only recently been ported to the N64. Doom 64, and Quake 1/2/3 64 have sold extremely poorly, so any limitations caused by them are now over.

Regardless of the implications of this article, I'd like to complain about the writing.
The writing of this Peacefire article is degenerate and cruel.
It makes repeated ad hominim attacks. The members of the commission are typified as being arrogant Nazis out of an Indiana Jones film.:)
The article is overdone with rhetoric and vituperative language. Instead of offering evidence we see opinionated flaming.
The attentive reader will notice that quotations from COPA members are few and out of context, while spin control arguments composed the remaining 60% of this diatribe.
Jon Katz has some flaws, but his writing is not deliberate character assassination like this piece.
Indeed, without the signature and reputable identification, I would dismiss this as an virulent Anonymous Coward submission.
By the end, this article is pathetically confused. It bashes a commission member for being criminally stupid by nonjudgementally accepting critiscism.
Flaming a brueaucrat for being nice! Incredible.

By the way, I agree that censorware is misguided and offensive.
I disagree with the miles of wimpy hatred expended by this author for that goal.
The Mafia is not involved in businesses because they are illegal.
The underworld is not a sucker for punishment.
Instead, the underworld is so greedy that they ignore laws in a organized manner. Gambling, drugs, prostitution will always be used to finance moves by the underworld.
These businesses are easy to exploit for huge profits, if you do not care what happens to the customer.
If you had ever visited a addiction recovery group, you would not be so callous.
If in reality "Most link self-esteem to technical knowledge, and sometimes the easiest way to elevate yourself is to belittle someone else"
I am suprised no one has gone postal yet.
The situation you describe is not healthy. Most people would consider it an honour to pass on their knowledge, especially if they were taught by such a person in the beginning.
Hmm... perhaps the nature of the common self-exploration of computer knowledge inspires intellectual arrogance?
That information is classified, which means Nintendo hasn't decided yet.
Rest assured, through first, second or third party software, you will play DVDs.

Ideally, the ballot should say:
1st choice: [Reform]
2nd choice: [Republican]
3rd choice: [Communist]
..or whatever your heart decides.
With the above system, your vote always counts on some ballot for some party.
Voila.
Every vote will count.
"Quickly clicking can queue up far more units than you'll ever use. "
But the game is still so stupid it will consume all my resources and time in order to pump out 100 marines and nothing else I want.
Prioritization! Intelligence!
"If the most complex part of the game is the sequence of triangles and circles I push to get my unit to perform a complex move, I'm not interested. "
Sid Meier's recent game civil war game, Gettysburg, has no resource management and only 10 buttons.
10 buttons for formation, attacking, regrouping and retreating.
Fun games are simple and deep, not complex and shallow.
Anyway, I agree with the rest of it.
"PS, what sort of storage system will the Dolphin have when it ships?"
The Dolphin will have near identical storage (DVD), memory (32), and speed (200mpoly) as the PSX2.

As long as the monopolies of music exist, and no antitrust suits are brought, little will change except by government intervention.

Hello? The _BLUE_ LED is only good for 1000 hours. The reason is because BLUE LEDS were only recently invented.
A cell phone does not need to be full color all the time. Simply don't use BLUE. Use green, it gives you 1250 days or 4 YEARS between replacements.
BLUE LED: ONE AND A HALF MONTHS of CONSTANT USE.
GREEN LED: FOUR YEARS.
RED LED: ELEVEN YEARS.
See? No problem.

Exaggeration is very likely. Unlike the supreme court, Slashdot usually provides just one reference or one point of view.

Or perhaps the problem is the enormous number of submissions. "News" for nerds might not involve a balanced selection.
If only we could look at the story queue.
The poster was referring to game boys in general, not the newest installment.
