So I am a free loading douche when the same music is legally streamed over digital radio every day, streamed over analog radio every day, streamed for free over the internet every day, all legal. So it is ok and legal, note legal, for me to make a perfect digital recording of a song played over digital radio for free, yet illegal to download a copy for free. The word retarded applies to you here.

You must have bad taste in music, a slow internet connection, or not going to the right places for torrents. A decent private tracker usually has more music available than you could listen to in a couple of years playing it 24/7. A really good site will have even more.

Buy Vanilla, comes with a month game play (so 20 bucks, 5 for game, 15 for months time) If you like it, then buy additional game time until you reach level 60. Then buy TBC, costs 20 bucks and comes with a month's game time. When you reach 70, Wrath will be 20 bucks and come with a month's game time. And if you actually take your time, try out different classes/races/specs, you might take a couple of years before you even get interested n Cata. Which will be about the time the next expansion comes out. Personally, I think the 15 bucks a month is the best entertainment value I got going at the moment. And that is if I log in for a couple hours a week, all day for a couple of days in a row, or not at all for a week.

There is also the idea that folks play the same game different ways. I love the low-level BGs. I have several XP-off toons that I do nothing on but PvP and run instances to gear them to the max. I have another toon I farm and fish on. I have several toons on different servers who only are lvl 5 or 6 and "live" simply to fill the gbanks with goods and then sell the stuff to make more gold to fill the gbank's money tab. don't raid, rarely quest (at lvl 10 I either BG for XP or I do the traditional grind of killing things)and I thoroughly enjoy playing WoW. I ain't buying Cata because Blizz broke my hunters, but I will eventually.

I would rather live frugally and not be beholden to another person, than live like a king and owe out my ass. Right now I am living on about 1000.00 bucks a month worth of expenses. Varies as I pay my car insurance every six months which causes a spike in my expenses. I make far more than that. My income above my expenses is stuck in a roth ira (sucky return but better than a savings account by far. I don't indulge in a lot of extras, although I do have an active WoW account and often go out with friends. Of course I eat before going out, and usually have a cup of coffee, and am the designated driver if we are bar hopping. Now I am just playing XP-off BGs with my lowbies and farming on my mains. Figure once I level my alts, other than my XP-locked PvP toons, I might buy Cata. But until then, I am not.

As long as their games are crappy, full of fail and AIDS and generally released and forgotten, fuck them. I will download a cracked, patched and working pirated version and play it.

Or having each vehicle inspected, scanned and passengers stripped prior to allowing them on the roads? If you leave your house in a car you have a much better chance of dying before you get to you destination than if you flew on a plane, even with no security screenings. Fact is that no one person can be skilled in every field. Me, I can repair any HVAC/R equipment on the market, weld using MIG, TIG, stick and gas, do framing, lay brick, float concrete, replace a roof, rebuild a 350 small block, resurface the heads, lay carpet or tile, paint, install rubber roofing, craft fine furniture, install and/or repair cable and phone systems and do most basic stuff when it comes to computers.
