If my DNA sequence is identical to that of DNA encoded Backstreet Boys track, I may well expect a cease-and-decist letter from the RIAA effectively ordering me to commit suicide?

If I were in your shoes, I wouldn't need a Cease and desist letter to commit suicide.

The Nokia 3360's and smaller phones are very annoying. I want a phone large enough that I dont feel like I need to be moving the phone up to my ear when listening and down to the mouth when talking.

I know they work well, but I feel like I have to do that, and the smaller they get the worst that 'feeling' will be.

By time you add up your phone, long distance, cable, and AOL you get around $230! All they are doing is combining the bills into one. People are currently paying this much, or close to it and just don't realize it with all of the bills coming in seperate. I'm not going to find it all that convenient for them to do something like this, but some folks will and it will save AOL-TW a bunch on paying people to process payments.

Imagine AOL/TW only having to pay 1/4 the amount of people to process all the charges instead of whatever they have now. A pile of Data-entry clerks will be out of work because of this... all in the name of convenience.

I know that at my bank, my debit works just like my capitolone Visa card. Capitolone is much better at handling fraud than my puny little local bank is. So, I'm not sure about you, but I'm just the opposite. I'd rather get a bill in the mail from my credit card company and dispute with them the charges than have my some merchant take the funds directly out of my bank account and during the whole time I'm disputting the charges, I'm out of that money.

  17. Re:Wait for 6.1! on Netscape 6 Is Out (Really!) · · Score: 2

I just installed Netscape 6, played with it for about 20 minutes, got sick, uninstalled it and in a few minutes I'm going to go shower after I post this with my handy dandy Internet Explorer 5.5.

My major concern was that it took 20 megs once loaded, and took a while to load on my win2kpro k6-2/500 & 256mb ram machine. The next thing is the size kept increasing on me. When I finally quit Netscape6 it was taking 37 megs up.

The rendering seems slower than IE. It may not be, but the way it renders pages seemed slow.

I'll be waiting for 6.1 before I try again, but at how it stands now... if you didn't know that Netscape was owned by AOL, you can certainly tell it is by looking at this.
