I fully agree. But even so, there is nothing wrong with IE6. I like it is well integrated and I can type address from windows explorer and go to internet from there.

2) that companies and people should be treated on equal footing
I believe that an entity such as Microsoft shouldn't be treated as a person, and that intellectual property rights shouldn't be zealously enforced, unless said enforcement is meant to protect the rights of individual people (e.g. artists/creators as opposed to large conglomerates). Thus, for the good of the people, Microsoft's code should be open-sourced, to the detriment of Microsoft.

as far as the commercial domain is concerned, copyright should be respected. when im at home, using equipment *that I paid for*, no one has the power to tell me what to do with it. i will press any sequence of buttons that I want, and no one can do shit about it.
as long as i am not selling, or publicly broadcasting stuff i got from the net, everything else is fair game.
