Well, 2.2 is still new as hell... so the masses who now use it find the bugs (all bugs are shallow... blah blah) so for the first little bit after a release as big and nifty as this they tend to climb the versions like crazy, then level out to.. i think its aroudn 4 stable releases a year once all its good.

Honently, WinNT can be made to be "relativly" (to Win95/8) stable, it can run a ok load, to some good stuff, look pretty. But it does take a significant amount of work to, i've never done it (Why? i just run linux, i dont need to tweak the fuck out of it to make it stable, it already is) but i've seen part of what it takes, quite a bit. Look how much tweaking went into that one crazy microsoft spondered test my mindsomething, that is a lot of work to do that none of the technicicans there could do w/o help from microsoft. Yeh, and the still felt they need to run a fucked version of linux (2.2.2 = buggy, specially/w ms clients, NASTY), give it less memory, and disable speed things. ha. That test really showed how much work it is to run a NT box. I say don't bother.
My old high school was a mess, it has a small network of around mabye 16 win32 computers in it. All win95 clients to a winNT 3.51 server, which, suprisingly, never really had crashes, nt 3.51 is a lot better then 4.0 if you ask me. Course thats like saying getting your head cut off is better then drowning, its true, but you don't want either!
anyway, all I and my friends ever did was keep telling the other students how to do things in windows... they had no idea, so i figure why not tell thim things in linux instead of windows since windows obviously isnt really inituvitive anyway.

Man, i've had 3 MS mice, and a bootleg. All 3 MS mice stoped working well after 3 months. The bootleg, now that lasted at least 6 months. Then i got a logitech, had it for 2 years, still works like new.
no kidding I like Logitech stuff they are nice product names "Mouse" "Keyboard" "TrackBall" AND i owned 4 MS mice (job gave them to me) and a MS natural keyboard, all broken in exact 3 months. I wouldnt buy a MS thing even if it was good.
